The Jarrow lad, 20, netted 56 times at Reserve and Academy level for the Magpies in 102 starts plus 20 sub outings. Carl is now set to join Falkirk on an 18-month deal, subject to the necessary paperwork being completed. The Bairns are currently sixth in the Scottish Premier League and host Kilmarnock on Saturday.
