Woodgate is like David James, spectacular on occasion but the occasional lapse in concentration and all the hard work is pointless. Dawson will be better and King is better and i dont think he would be happy with 3rd choice. Lapses in concentration? That's one thing Woodgate was and never will be prone to because his reading of the game is fantastic, as good as any. Regarding Huddlestone, I don't see the hype to be honest, good neat passer, but that's about it. Mind he is only 20 or so, and has a long way to go. It would be harsh to be too critical. BTW King is a top defender, he has the potential to be better than the likes of Terry IMO, but he's quite prone to those pesky niggly injuries himself and to really prove himself, he'll have to leave Spurs for a Chelsea, Man Utd or an Arsenal, seriously, otherwise he'll be to Spurs what Shay Given is to us - too good and often let down by the shite around him. King was rubbish at SJP this season like, but I know that's not his normal level of performance. Always been more impressed by him for England than John Terry certainly. As for Michael Dawson being better than Woodgate, you can't say anything about that other than worry about the poster's mental health. It's a comparison akin to comparing Shola Ameobi to Thierry Henry, and I say that without hyperbole. Gotta love the amount of thick twats on there using one of the football forum's worst arguments - "if he's that good, why is he not in the England squad/he's in the England squad, must be good". Why would he resign himself to playing for Boro? If he was the sort of lad who was desperate to play for his hometown club above all others, then he would just say that now and remove any doubt - why would you keep the fans and the club waiting if you were desperate to stay?
