Dr Colossus
The Mirror's Premier League top-scorers list, which includes goals from all competitions. The title of it is "Top Scorers: Prem" and it has Van Persie top with 9, and Suarez second with 8. A quick check of Wikipedia has RVP and Demba joint top with 7 each. Guest Slippery Sam
Watching a match on tv (Everton v Liverpool) and Sky thinks it's a good idea to have an inset on the screen showing the Man United players arriving at Stamford Bridge. WE DON'T NEED, OR WANT, TO SEE THIS SHIT FFS!
Exiled in Texas
Linesmen not passing the ball back/or stopping the ball on goal kick or throw in Not their job - and if they do it for one then why not the next when it's a bit further away...and so on etc. Soon you'd hgave them chasing down all balls out of play. Not their job.

madras
When commentators proclaim a "fantastic save" when the ball is smacked against the keeper from a metre away sometimes it is though, schmeichel was fantastic at it, he'd block space in a way other keepers, even those the same size just couldn't do, other times it aint mind. Definitely. That against Sir Les stopped us winning the league.
Ronaldo
Keepers get far too much credit for saves in general. It's not difficult to dive and knock a mid-height ball around the post when it's hit from 25 yards.

Jack Flash
Keepers throwing themselves on the floor instead of using their feet/legs to save a shot. In a lot of cases it's far easier and quicker to just stick your leg out than dive but still they dive. They'll have been programmed to do that from an early age. Cajun
Probably of the mindset that your body is much bigger than your foot so you are lessening the chances of being caught out by a bobble etc.. (pure guesswork).

Jack Flash
There will definitely be a few goals in the PL this weekend that could have been stopped by using a leg/foot. Paul Robinson post-Leeds was horrible for it. De Gea did it against Chelsea and I was overjoyed.
Guest Stephen927
Problem with using your legs to block shots is it often goes straight back to where it came from or into a danger area. If you dive there's a chance of catching it or knocking it out to the side.
Darth Crooks
You are more likely to hold onto something with your hands than your feet. Not sure how you can get wound up about that like.

Even when it's traveling at high speed in close proximity of your foot/knee? Watch Everton's second against us in the 2-2 and see if you think Harper's decision was correct. Darth Crooks
Well each game will bring its own merits in terms of decisions to be made; I'm not going to question the incident named above because you are probably right. In that instance. I'm just going along with the opinion that is held that as a goalkeeper its always better to get yourself in a position where you're most likely to stop a shot whilst retaining posession and not falling foul of the second ball. Kind of like when keepers do two hand punches when they could try to just hold it. That's like your example but in reverse.
newsted
Paul Elliott. The way he crowbars inappropriate "long" words and shit management speak into his ramblings makes me wince pretty much non-stop. Seems to impress some people like. Could call it The Crooks Effect. My fucking word, he even made Ray Wilkins sound sensible.
