And if it is possible where would it be best to be located? As just thinking, last year at the Cricket World Cup in the US, they built a temporary stadium in parkland in New York, which had a capacity of 34000, and cost $25M to set up. vic Posted February 4 Share Posted February 4 Acoustics is a bullshit excuse,if you can get 10,000 16-25 year old young uns together they will create the atmos, The old SJP before any of the stands were built was fantastic for support mainly because a lot went on the spur of the moment and paid at the turnstyle, virtually the only ST holders were in the old Milburn stand.It's the 40/50/60/70 year olds who won't sing or create the atmosphere. This demographic of supporters are currently locked out from what it seems like is being said on here? More seats in a new stadium with only a modest increase in STs creates much more opportunity for non-boomers to attend matches and have themselves a blast and create an atmosphere. Then again, with the weather in the UK as unpredictable as it is in the winter months, it'd need to have a nice, flowing, aero-dynamic take, otherwise it'd get battered during storms.
