Guest ToonUltra
Red Pumas...what is the point in it? We know who we are made by, we know who our sponsor is and we know that this is SJP not the fucking side of the metro centre! Get the fuck Ashley man! 9
I've heard we all have to wear sports direct sandwich boards next home game..
Guest Haris Vuckic
One positive - nobody wants to slap their brand all over a unsuccessful club or a badly run one so hopefully they'll keep up the good work on the pitch & in bargain bin of the transfer market. Colocho
Why do the signs have to come down for the Olympics?
Guest Haris Vuckic
Before the competition but not during the competitive football season and they'll go back up straight after so they may just cover them up to save £££

Will probably just throw massive white sheets over the signs.
Sifu
Great, more unnecessary signs.
Stottie
Looks crap like the Sports Direct everywhere. It may be the way of the world, but we don't have to like it. The pitch looks amazing in that photo though. I didn't realize they used grow lights.
Stu
Great, more unnecessary whingeing about non-SD logos.
Dell Boi
The pitch looks amazing in that photo though. I didn't realize they used grow lights. Our pitch is the best in the league after the Emirates isn't it? I'm sure there was an article on SSN about it.
Rich
Been second in the "Groundsman of the Year Awards" past two seasons I think, maybe more. Nice that we take such care of the playing surface these days as there have been times when it's become a hindrance by Christmas time.
Dell Boi
Aye that was it, knew we were second for something ^ http://i55.tinypic.com/11kiezq.jpg Anyway I changed the colour of the Direct sign to black and I can't help but feel (although still looking shit) it would have been a lot less of an eye sore, or maybe it's just me. I know you'd never change your company colours but whatever.
ponsaelius
That looks around 1000x better.
Rich
I'd venture that it would actually look decent if they'd just made it black and white (white with a black outline so it stood out a bit and the reverse for the black letters). As said though, it's their company colours at the end of the day, although it would have been something of a compromise at least.
Guest Haris Vuckic
I wouldn't mind if a quarter as much if that was the colour scheme!
bowlingcrofty
I've said all along that it wouldn't be as bad in black and white. We had adidas all over the shop but it was white on black and blended in OK. I don't actually mind the Puma logo though, it's nicely and subtly branded. It's the SD.com that really is shite. I know you'd never change your company colours but whatever. That's definitely easier on the eye. But even with that colour scheme, I still wouldn't be too thrilled with SD signs being everywhere. Dell Boi
Yeah glad you all agree. Black and white would look good too, if he had even an ounce of class he surely would have done it in black and white.
AyeDubbleYoo
I hate it, but it would be almost pointless for Ashley to advertise his brand if he didn't use his brand identity. He could rebrand SportsDirect in black and white in general mind, that might be a good move.
Ryan
Look sh*t. More unnecessary ads. The colours posted on the previous page are a lot easier on the eye.

BottledDog
I went on a stadium tour last year and we were told that the club makes it a condition that we don't have a black Puma logo on our home strip, because than it would have a 'black cat' on it. I guess the same applies here - he doesn't want to have black cats on the stadium. Could be bullshit, mind. This years keeper kit originally had black cats on the arms in the first promotional pictures, they were changed to white cats by the time the top came out.
