Personally, I think if Kevin Keegan walked through the door tomorrow, or Alex Ferguson, or Arsene Wenger, it would lift the roof off..... only one is possible though and i'd never right off the idea of keegan returning in some capacity. i'd take him as a sort of director of football.decent eye for a player(but not to leave it all to him) and would anyone be better at lifting the crowd or persuading players to come here ? Some options we hear repeatedly, none of which are impossible, are: Sacking the board? Check A takeover? Check A good run at the start of next season? Check A spending spree bringing in flair players to add to the squad we already have? Hmm, not quite just yet A spending spree on defenders and midfielders? Check A new manager? Check Getting shot of Luque Check Alan Shearer? Nah A cup run? Bit early to say, but played one, won one Relegation? :giggle: Not a bad little list, and I reckon it's worked so far.
