Guest
If Wigan beat Sheff Utd 1-0, and West Ham lose, both Wigan & Sheff Utd stay up. If, say an hour in and it's still goalless, and they hear West Ham are getting thrashed at Old Trafford, would you be surprised if Wigan & Sheff Utd got their revenge for the points deduction thing by playing out a 1-0 Wigan win to send West Ham down anyway?! Dokko
Not at all, if its 3-0 at manu i can see Warnock taking off his keeper in the last 5 mins tbh.
SEMTEX
for that to happen West Ham would have to be getting a drubbing... they wouldn't risk it at 1-0/2-0. Maybe not even at 3-0.
Guest Armchair Pundit
I would if I was him, that'd learn em!
thewellander
The only way for Sheffield to guarantee they stay up is to win, and they're at home. I don't see Warnock getting his team to lose intentionally in front of a stadium full of fans singing Greasy Chip Butty at the top of thier lungs. And yes, I have just shown that I have a huge soft spot for Sheffield United.
Dr Spectrum
Not going to happen. I don't see how Colin can agree to wait and see for an hour, what happens if West Ham are doing alright? Would Sheffield United want to risk giving Wigan such a great platform to try and nick the game? I can't see them doing anything other than going all out to win. And good luck to them. Guest Hodgson09
Lets just hope that West Ham lose, and Wigan win allowing Wigan and Sheffield United to stay up on goal difference, now that is what I call rubbing salt into a cockneys wounds hahahaha. Lets hope next season we are more interested in where we are in the table.
La Parka
And yes, I have just shown that I have a huge soft spot for Sheffield United. Wednesday ftw! I thought about this today too. Hope West Ham stay up for my mothers sake. Poor woman couldn't take relegation again!

Belfast Boy
I would imagine there will be plenty of 'injuries' in the second half of Sheff Utd v Wigan to ensure they hear the final result from Old Trafford before they finish.
STM
1. 5 minutes of added time in the sheff v wigan game 2. a penalty in that time 3. scored by an ex sheff utd player 4. tevez in the centre of controversy scores a goal that could save west ham 5. the goal was scored against the champions AND we still have 45 minutes left to play............. god i love football.
