brummie
With the transfer activity going on, I now see us catching Everton and pushing Spurs close. Never that simple though, is it. I bet West Ham are saying that too. I bet someone nobody predicted does really well next season, and someone will surprise us by getting relegated (or close to it). Guest optimistic nit
but last season we didn't even have a chance of catching these two. we may not catch these 2 next season, but at least we will imo have a squad capable of doing this.

Yorkie
Love it how yous are all putting Derby bottom. I'm a Derby fan like you, but with the defense and general team they've got at the moment, and they players they've signed so far (and the players that have departed) they haven't got a cat in hell's chance. safc
At the moment I reckon it'll end something like this: 1. Man Utd 2. Chelsea 3. Liverpool 4. Spurs 5. Arsenal 6. Villa 7. Pompey 8. Everton 9. Newcastle 10. Blackburn 11. West Ham 12. Bolton 13. Reading 14. Man City 15. Boro 16. Birmingham 17. Sunderland 18. Fulham 19. Wigan 20. Derby However transfers will mean that in a few days this will probably be pretty much defunct.

No. Man U are signing players they don't need, albeit excellent ones. They still don't have a reliable centre forward, neither Tevez or Rooney are this. They'll play 433 in an attempt to fit everyone in, it won't work. They won't be as good as last season. Wenger will do what Wenger does.

Cronky
Only predictable thing at the moment is that Man U will win it. Unlike Man U, Chelsea's signings seem to be designed to bolster the squad rather than improve it. It's important to keep things moving forward whatever the standard you've reached, and they could slip to 3rd or 4th. 2nd is more likely. Anyone else think that this lack of spending is Abramovich's way of hoping Mourinho goes into a huff and leaves? If Arsenal sort Wenger's future out, I'd say third, because they're on the way up. Otherwise 4th or 5th. Liverpool 3rd or 4th. I still don't think they've found the answer. Between Spurs, us, West Ham, Everton and Villa for the next few places. Whoever gets Bellamy finishes 5th. (That's a bold one)
