Lowndsy
sorry if being asked/answered but is this going ot be the first of the setanta games? or celtic? and is there any radio coverage?
ShearMagic
FWIW, I personally think 3 threads would be the way to go (not so much for the friendlies, but defo. for the season games). A pre-match thread, a match thread, and a post-match thread. Thats the way it is on a few other forums I post on, it works very well. All that being said, I don't really care if its all in one. As for the match against Carlisle, I'm tipping a 2-1 win. Harper Geremi Ramage (Huntington HT) Rozehnal Babayaro (Edgar HT) Solano (Milner HT) Barton Butt (Emre HT) N'Zogbia (Luque HT) Ameobi Martins (Carroll HT)

Tom_NUFC
Radio Cumbria http://www.bbc.co.uk/cgi-perl/whatson/search/daylist.cgi?service_id=50996&DAY=Today unless they block the coverage over the internet, but Radio Cleveland didn't with the Hartlepool game, and as it's only a friendly hopefully we'll able to listen. It's not on Radio Newcastle though.

LocalHero
Ameobi's injured. Dyer and Martins up front. Where you hear that from? Just caught the end of Terry Mac interview on ss news. Said he'd be back for Celtic, so it must just be a strain or something. Also said that there's a lot of pace up front!
KaKa
Wow ... is this a joke? Owen injured, maybe Viduka and now Ameobi. *Edit: I didn't hear anything about Shola in the Terry Mac interview!

Guest LucasUnger
jesus wept only 3 threeks to the start of the league and we have 2 fit strikers( martins, carrol) and only 2 proper defenders??? get some players in BS!!!
Guest Ridzuan
I hope its not his hip again that is causing him trouble.Anyway, both Owen and Ameobi absence wont affect the outcome of today's match I think.I believe we still have enough firepower to win and at the same time,it means that the youngsters will get more chances to impress.I also read that Luque is not ready to play yet according to Big Sam,which is a big disappointment for me.
