Predictions : The Next four games

Recommended Posts

  • 3 weeks later...

On the last set of predictions the pessimists were mostly right, with the last set of four games bringing just four points. Still, a draw with Arsenal and a good performance against Birmingham should give us hope - right? Well we end the year with the following games

Fulham Away

Derby Home

Wigan Away

Chelsea Away

I'm going to say six points from the four games. We should definately get three against Derby and I'd expect us to win one of the other three, or maybe draw them all. Chelsea might not be losing at home yet, but they're definately easier to get a draw against than they were under Mourinho.

I could see us beating Fulham or Wigan, but probably not both and maybe not either.

So, any advance on six points?

I'd go for 3 points. Our Boxing Day hoodoo will continue at Wigan and Chelsea should turn us over too.

I've got a bad feeling about tonight as well for some reason.

Fulham (A) - Draw

Derby (H) - Win

Wigan (A) - Draw

Chelsea (A) - Lose

Can't see us picking up a win at Wigan, even if they are down at the bottom. We're shite there. That'd be a decent enough return though, i think. If we can win tonight, it'd be much, much better. The most crucial game of recent fixtures comes just after those four, and that's the one we have to win regardless of how we do in these.

Why is everyone so worried about Wigan away?

I can't see us losing down there this time tbh.

@ Wigan:

Played: 3

Lost: 3

Conceded: 3

Scored: 0

Doesn't make for decent reading tbh.

Oh I agree. I just think that they, with Brucie in charge and the big Tit at the back, are there for the beating.
