He has been on the bench a few times. Aye but never as the only striker.. True, but I'm sure our invisible Spaniard will also be on the bench tomorrow.

He's in the first team squad for tomorrow, doesn't know if he'll be playing QPR The QPR game isn't until Thursday. Unless he think he might be involved against Hull on Wednesday.

Asked him how many he'll score against QPR and he said he didn't know yet. Has he lost his powers?
  6. I will be wearing the current Croatia away shirt, blue shorts and either white or yellow socks.
  7. What a waste of money. I've got a spare red England away top if anyone needs one.
  8. Walker and Sinclair haven't exactly broken in their respective first teams yet. He said "made the first team" they both have but correct they are not regular starters, Josh is a regular sub for PL games & James is in reserves. True he did say that but I presumed he meant on a regular basis, Walker has made one league appearance for Boro, Sinclair has made two for Bolton. Sinclair was also had spells in ours and the mackems academy during is youth apparently.

  10. Ahh, you read the Telegraph!
  11. I asked a rather well known ex forum member if he fancied a game, he declined.
  12. Mickey didnt start off here if I remmember correctly...
  13. Does Steve Simonsen count? South Shields lad. Mackem. What's the river which runs past Shields like. I meant the bloke was a childhood Sunderland supporter.

  15. Kinnear said he was. Cacapa actually got an assist away at West Ham!
  16. I would be disgusted to see him in a Newcastle shirt. Why? Mido, is over-rated, lazy, goes missing both on and off the park (disappeared to Egypt for over 3 weeks and Southgate hadn't a clue where he was) and is no better than what we already have here. He is better than Andy Carroll.
  17. Arriving early allows the atmosphere in the ground to bulid up, good stewarding can sort out the kids. It also prevents you from getting properly drunk pre-match. I suppose I wouldn't mind if they were willing to sell alcohol at non-ridiculous prices within the stadium. You still can't drink in view of the pitch so someone would probably take your seat while you are on the concourse.
  18. Not suprised you had cramp playing football inside a net for 90s mins, how did you move?
  19. In terms of physiotherapists and medical staff, quite a few of them haven't been here that long. Derek Wright has obviously been here for years but Jamie Murphy followed Allardyce from Bolton, Davie Henderson and Ian McGuinness both came down from Scotland while Fat Sam was here as well.
