He doesn't live in the UK and has no involvment in the day to day running of the club and has not funded any transfers or anything out of his own pocket iirc.
-
I'm sure he does but you might want to delete the link.

Also includes this load of s****... 'The French defender is unsettled at St James' Park after the club stalled on offering him a new deal and Curbishley is keen to sign him.'

Because it depends when the qualifing started for each touranment, if you are under 21 when it started then you can play until the tournament is over.

I know one thing. We'll be playing more attractive football than you lot next season! http://img174.imageshack.us/img174/5529/burtonbitterer6.jpg tbh

Well let's see. Sunday afternoon kick-off to watch a hopeless Newcastle team take on a boring Bolton side. Nope still can't see the attraction. Does the expression 'two bald men fighting over a comb' mean anything to you? Does the term 'supporting your team' mean anything to you?
-
No i haven't. We had almost 20,000 season ticket holders a few season's ago. We've actually improved our league position since then but crowds have been steadily dropping at the Reebok. If we had a load of 'glory hunter' fans, presumably they'd be filling the ground wouldn't they? So how come you can take only 500 fans to an away Premier League game and then so many to Marseille? Where have the extra fans been during domestic away games all over the country?
-
Probably not a good idea to start a reply with the word 'FACT' if you're then going to get your 'facts' completely wrong! Having sold our initial allocation, we were refused any more tickets. It was only because supporters travelled in such numbers without tickets that the French police instructed Marseille to let them into the ground. It wasn't a semi-final, in fact it was the last 32, which probably explains why Marseille didn't sell their allocation. Maybe they just have as many glory-hunters as Newcastle, who turn up for semi-finals but can't be arsed to turn up for any of the earlier rounds. Fair play you took a decent allocation over there I never said you didn't but I was mainly having a go at the fact you never sell out at home and that the Marseille fans didn't see it as a very important game, with ours being a semi final that is actually understandable. As for those lower cup attendances, well we still manage higher attendances when no fucker turns up than your average over a season for PL games and you have already admitted in this thread you have a load of glory fans.
-
I wasn't tbh, fair play to them they took a good following over to France. My comment was aimed at Bolton not being as big as an attraction for the fans of Marseille.
-
Really? Fact is we took more supporters to Marseille than ANY of the English teams that they've played inlcuding Newcastle! In fact they had to open another block of seats in the MARSEILLE section (next to the line of stewards) to accommodate the BWFC supporters once the allocated section was full! FACT is you were given a bigger allocation. We took what we could and there were more of our fans in the ground than had tickets no doubt about it. As the picture shows our game with them was a total sell out, they couldn't give us a bigger allocation due to their own fans demand for tickets, but their fans were not arsed about playing your lot so they could give you an extra allocation alongside the cage.

Was just about to say the same. Love them. Some of us have seen the Marseille kit at first hand recently! http://img258.imageshack.us/img258/7820/28of0.jpg Wasn't as recent but... and how nice of them to leave a load of empty seats so you feel at home. http://www.curva-massilia.com/photos/040506_om-newcastle/26.jpg

The Magpies boss told nufc.co.uk: "We have been talking to Steve Round about coming in and working alongside Nigel Pearson as a first team coach, and those talks are ongoing."

Apparently it has all been agreed today, nothing like £17m, looks like not even being enough to disclose the details to the Stock Exchange. Still more to come. We have already proved you spout shite so just stop.

English is the official language of Nigeria.[/pedant] Maybe but there are many different laguages spoken in Nigeria so to assume they all speak English would be wrong and from hearing Martins in interviews earlier in the season it was clear he was not fluent in English.
