  1. Because I wanted your attention... The guy that gathered the material for the chart is a City fan Ya, just trawling thru me bookmarks came across the place where this was originally posted : PurelyManCity. Good site, the guy who does it has the inside track on all sorts of s****, and puts a lot of work into his posts. Apparently he also knows how many fans Newcastle have in the UK. (Don't tell Stevie, but its less than Spurs ) He's also posted a chart for Kit deals. http://www.purelymancity.com/wp-content/newkitdeals.jpg How would anyone know how many fans a side has in the country? It is impossible to count or even estimate accurately.
  2. Spurs signed a pretty big deal with Mansion around this time last year.
  3. Doesnt tell me much more than Leverkusen were Champions League finalists and a very good team when the G14 was formed and they havent expanded since Chelsea became "big" tbh. Aye At that time Leverkusen were finalist of the Champions league, they were challenging for the German tittle and were finalist of the German Cup.They were very successful club at that time. At that time Chelsea were nowhere near this success Leverkusen have never won the league, have a s*** history and a ground under 40,000 They are complete nobodies bankrolled by a local pharmaceutical company It's the equivalent of Dave Whelan using his JJB fortune to get Wigan in the Champions League and then getting invited to the G14 Totallly different, the equivalent would be Vauxhall Motors FC being bankrolled by Vauxhall and ending up as a CL team. Whelan bought Wigan using his JJB forture as you said but Leverkusen were never bought out buy some rich bloke, they were started by workers from the Bayer company many years ago.

    Trivia Question

West Brom. 551ft above sea level IIUGC Google is cheating man, I knew West Brom because I've seen us play there twice and some sad c*** mentioned it being the highest ground when I went.
  5. I mean come on. The home strip just simply isn't a kit. Take away the sponsors and you're looking at something from the 1900's. It's just not a football kit. The dark one has the same material as Alan Johnson's robe and the yellow one looks like my s*** after i've had citrous fruit juice. I think that's the idea with it being Spurs 125th anniversary year... Possibly, but they need to do their homework in that case. The first ever Tottenham Hotspur kit was all navy blue, and the only time Spurs have ever worn a white shirt with white shorts as their official home kit, was in 1985. [/smartarse] And in Europe this season.

    Owen

Especially as there was racing at Newcastle today. There was a massive meeting in Ireland with 8 races at Killarney today. Could have been that?

  10. What is that, a mens netball team or something? England Rugby Team!
  11. First thing he is going to do is look into fitness and why we have so many injuries.
  12. Strange, what I caught of him on SSN he sounded alright; Said the fans are great. Club is a sleeping giant Sam is the right man for the job. Sam had big personality and is what NUFC needs. Some dressing rooms problems but Sam can sort them out. Won't turn it around stright away, will take time.
  13. If he does well, I couldn't give a sh*t either. I'm more concerned about disappearing "New Topics" on this board, actually..... Your Nicky Butt post was merged with a thread about 3 down on the first page as it had already been posted. http://www.newcastle-online.com/nufcforum/index.php?topic=40088.0
  14. Klinsmann used Spurs to resurrect his career, off like a shot as soon as he had proved he could still do it. A number of Spurs fans I know don't like Klinsmann because of that.
  15. It's not black. http://img172.imageshack.us/img172/4332/mals07kn9.jpg
  16. I wolud imagine if he came back in Sam's backroom staff he would retain the player/coach role he currently has at Bolton. He was made assistant manager there wasn't he? Not sure he'd drop that in a week and run. Just player/coach according to the Bolton Official website.

    Who is this source?

    Freddy Shepherd.
  18. They have almost 30 back room staff but I think that page just lists the main ones... Unless they all left when Sam did.. Speaking of that, are you really an FM editor? Newcastle United Researcher, yes.
  19. It looks like Keith's old flag from the promotion season. It is, but he was planning on getting the lettering changed, not sure if he has and if so what it now has on it.
