Well done Greg[/member] - and thanks, it needed saying. What did they say to you in reply? Not a lot. Just an acknowledgment.

Not really - most of the social media stuff has been positive - with the usual bashing from the usual suspects that love a moan on Twitter but have nothing constructive to say or offer. Well there's been enough for the Chronicle's multimedia editor to report on it via twitter which is where I saw it initially. Just seen you've responded to it on twitter too. Surprising you'd do that if it's "not really" happening. As in the majority of tweets have been positive - the reaction from the majority to the nonsense - e.g the Chronciel's multimedia editor's tweet - was positive.

Are you on the Board or executive leadership of Man United? Unless you are, then you don't know you didn't bid. Just as nobody on here knows either. And it really doesn't matter - there was clearly interest at the time - be it whipped up by agents or otherwise -and it didn't materialise.

Absolute disgrace I wouldn’t put it past this regime hawking them to corporate scousers. At anytime this is unacceptable and makes us look small time, but when capacity is limited to 2 thousand ? If any of them tickets end up in the hands of Liverpool fans when our lot can’t get in it’ll be a f***ing outrage. Of course they'll be hawking them off to the Scousers. They did that when we played them a couple of seasons ago despite 1000s of NUFC fans not even being offered the chance to buy a ticket. The crowd will probably be 50/50 that day. Thankfully I'll be nowhere near the place. Agree completely another reason why this regime is rotten to the core, they’d happily sell out their own supporters for a few extra quid. They've taken these down now and said it was a "mistake". I understand a % of the tickets available will go to hospitality but should go to existing hospitality holders not general sale, should be a small percentage but they absolutely should not be selling them like this, and certainly not before they have even engaged on their plans for the return of fans let alone before they have communicated it.

It's not really a disgrace like is it? Have they (The Trust) bothered to do anything useful with their survey results yet? Follow up action planned? What action do you propose? We've shared with the club, and obviously ramped up the pressure via media. But other than letting the club know what the fans think there is not a great deal more the Trust can do but represent the views of fans directly with the club and by getting message out in media.

Keeper should save it - with his left foot.

He didn't really defend him, he said forget about Bruce, forget about Rafa, nothing will change unless the owner changes.

These are are still actively doing what they can. It just isn't all done on social media.

Thanks all. God knows what I've let myself in for but looking forward to it.

Don't know. I joined up about 18 months ago. Didn't renew my 1 year subscription but they still gave me voting rights at the last round of elections. Does anyone know what's happened to the £40k or whatever they've taken from the 15,000 lifetime and 1 year memberships they sold? In the Trusts bank account...... Then every year NUST produce annual accounts to show what the money is spent on, what's in the bank etc. Then they are professionally audited by a chartered accountant. Then they are submitted to the Financial Conduct Authority. Can you reveal if the trust are still in touch with consortium, not asking you to reveal details but would be interested to know ? Alex has spoken with Amanda Staveley previously a number of times, she knows where he is if she/they want to get in touch again.

Held a live meeting on YouTube and Facebook yesterday on the future of football governance with Ian Mearns MP and Kevin Miles, CEO of the Football Supporters Association. Pretty active in terms of getting PPV scrapped working with the FSA and other trusts, plenty of other things too, if you are members you are clearly not reading your emails. The first meeting of the new member Council on Sunday - over 100 members far more directly involved in the direction and running of the trust. Forced the club into finally giving refunds (twice). Got a survey going on at the minute - would urge you to complete if you are a member. Lots of people rant on here and Twitter but the amount of people that actually reach out through proper channels with constructive feedback is incredibly low - though there has been some good feedback on here previously.

So the PL have called their bluff in that case? Not sure if one of Europes top QC's would get involved in a bluff (potential). He would have little choice under the cab rank rule. He retweeted it from his personal twitter account, he absolutely did have choice in that. I've not seen any tweets from Robert O’Donoghue.

What do you mean he would have no choice? It's not like he was forced to take the case on from the beginning? Unless I'm totally lost here. If approached by a client with a case in his field of law he has to accept regardless of who the client is. No way. There’s zero way that he would have to represent anyone he doesn’t want to. That’s a ridiculous notion. Wrong.

Inclined to agree. They've dragged this out for long enough, I'd give them an extra 48 hours out of courtesy then if nothing satisfactory has been received by then you've got Friday to put things in motion formally. f*** them, drag them through the s*** Not how legal processess work - the ridiculous delay on the takeover refusal / non decision really has no bearing on them having a reasonable period of time to respond to a letter before action. Fair enough Is a week deemed unreasonable? Is 3 weeks more the norm? Yes - basically. I hope this action works - I am just trying to bring some objective reasonableness to the false hope and hyperbole this sort of thing creates.
