Liverpool are different, they have some kind of witchcraft over us which hopefully we'll break in the coming seasons once the squad is elite level. Spurs are a brittle team even with Kane and I think if the atmosphere is the same as the Man Utd game they'll also wilt in the atmosphere like Man Utd did.

It's why I find the Rice rumours strange. I'd love to have him here absolutely, but the money involved doesn't match the kind of business this regime has been doing so far and I can't see us spending such a huge amount of money on one player when our whole squad needs work especially with (hopefully) a CL campaign next season.

I am very confident we'll beat Spurs. We're dominant at home, they're all over the place and don't even have a real manager. It's also the most significant match in terms of head to heads. Win that and then we only need a few more wins from our remaining games. Liverpool are capable of winning the majority of their remaining games but they're starting from very far behind to begin with. Brighton and Villa will slip up along the way given their fixture lists.
