And today is an example of why it's not 50/50. We are going down without a raft of quality players arriving in this transfer window.
-
There is no way we actually scouted Joselu before signing him.
-
Why is anyone shocked? This is how we've played all season.
-
They forgot to water him.
-
West Brom manager did get us a few victories at hoodoo grounds to be fair to him.
-
Why would anyone hate Saivet? He hasn't had a chance to do anything

Merry Christmas all of you.

Imagine how absolutely wank we've been recently. Then consider that with that one win today we're 15th in the form table over the last six games. Even in the last ten matches where we've lost eight of them, West Brom have only gained as many points as us, and Swansea only one point more. Watford and Southampton have only gained three points more than us. The results have been absolutely awful for seemingly yonks and we're four points away from the top half. We're perfectly capable of going 8 losses in 9 again. Like I said, until quality players are through the door I'm staying at 10. The win at West Ham whilst brilliant still feels like the anomaly.

same reason Liverpool, Celtic, Ajax, etc will always be a massive deal even if they've been shite for ages. I think PSG are the best example. All the money in the world, buying great players and even taking one of Barca's top players from them. Yet I still think of Marseille as the biggest French club.
-
I don't think any amount of money buys you that Real Madrid or Barcelona sheen as a club. You may have great teams and win loads of trophies but casual fans won't take to you the same as they do clubs of that ilk which are steeped in tradition, history and personality.

I don't see how it's clear they're managing the transfer window. Our only seriously linked target is Kenedy on loan which is a rehash of the summer. If Kenedy comes in on loan as the first signing it's a clear signal it's still Ashley pinching the pennies.
-
Just stuff everyone in goal.
-
Still 10 for me and will be until some quality players have signed for us.
-
Didn't watch most of the game as I was out. When I got back in it was 2-1 and then quickly became 3-1 to us. I thought I'd tune in, we concede. Learned my lesson so I turned it off
-
It's so, so beautiful. Hope he sees the season out.
-
West 'am fans already turning on Moyes. Didn't take long. Can't really blame them though because he is a giant turd.
-
Can we play the rest of our games this season against West Ham please?
-
Well we're fucked. Another miserable Ashley transfer window.
-
If anything was nailed on today...
-
Since Pardew came in, we have taken so many dickings by four and five goals that I can't agree with this. Those teams were better just led by an imbecile.

Loss. 100% Has your dummy come out? No, I just think we'll lose? Comfortably. Against West Ham...we comfortably beat them at SJP... Under Bilic when the form of each team was reversed. Aye, but nonetheless, I find it a bit absurd to write it off as a comfortable loss. Agreed. Can understand people thinking it'll happen though. Nothing (bar possibly Man City away) should ever be viewed as a write off. With this Man City team the home game should be written off as well. That's the spirit! Indeed. Our worst PL team ever definitely has a chance against the undefeated Man City team who have demolished just about everyone home and away in humiliating fashion.
