Should have been off yesterday. Given how red card happy refs are with us I was amazed that Mason didn't produce the second yellow. Worrying that he seems to have these games where he goes completely off the boil like that.
-
He's right though. One shot on target at home should rightly be derided.
-
I thought we did well to get 1 All the shite teams get a goal at City man, we even went 0-1 up. Should have been 0-2 up but we were screwed over by the linesman.
-
Given previous, he probably has a secret release clause of £3m that Harry Redknapp will announce to the world in January.
-
I feel that Norwich will eventually replace us in the relegation zone and we'll just about survive. It's going to be very ugly all season though. This is Ashley's club though. It will be job done if we stay up as far as he's concerned $$$.
-
They were dropped when the whole team were playing poorly because we had two decent replacements at the time and we don't in any other position. You can't have any complaints when you're dropped for playing poorly That is part of the problem though as I see it. When the replacements don't contribute anything and Perez and Mitrovic come on and turn games and still don't get back in the team it will cause motivation issues. All speculation obviously but you can see a decline in their motivation and the fact that Perez looks pissed off lately (don't ever remember him being that way before, even under Crystal Palace manager when he was here). I'd say Mitrovic looks pissed off too, but I'm sure that is his default state anyway.
-
I don't think you have to blame all of the players for that, especially 2 players who helped keep a dominant team our for 90+ minutes. I'm not. They were both poor in my opinion. The overriding point is neesy was really unfair to single out Perez as the worst player when so many were poor yesterday. The only players I'd credit yesterday were Mbemba, Sissoko, Wijnaldum and Elliot (up until that last moment).
-
To be fair to the Keegan hating cunt he's been pretty good recently. Awful punch yesterday though it has to be said. At some point I'd like to see Darlow brought in to see what he can do.
-
I think the impact Mitrovic and Perez had against Spurs, only then to be on the bench for players who have contributed nothing recently has had an effect. That after they were the only ones dropped when the whole team was playing poorly before the Liverpool game. Hopefully it will pick up, but I worry that McClaren hasn't managed that situation in the best way. They seem demotivated now.

Well, considering Perez was our worst player last night he deserved to go off. Janmaat, Dummett, Coloccini (might as well have not been there against Lukaku), Colback, Anita, Mitrovic. All were awful and worse than Perez yesterday. I thought Coloccini and Anita were 2 of our better players. We were dominated as the statistics back up. Nobody in the middle of the park played well.
-
He looks disgruntled to me more than anything.

His treatment of Ayoze Perez is beginning to annoy me as well. He's always the first to be subbed. If we had other options it might be understandable but he, along with Sissoko, are often our only threat. Ayoze also isn't that young. He's at an age where he should be playing all the time.
-
Think he wasn't brought on then because Ayoze had just had that decent turn and shot as he was about to be taken off If that's the case then it makes it even worse.
-
That is a fair point but I've seen Mitrovic miss four big chances in the last three games alone, two of them absolute sitters. We need someone better than that and should have bought as such. Can't understand the signing given the amount of money we put towards it, same with Thauvin. If we were actually prepared to spend money this summer I cannot understand why we didn't get better players. They'd cost more money. We only wanted the illusion of ambition, not real, expensive ambition.
-
No idea what was up with Thauvin not coming on in the 65th minute when he was ready to go. Or why we only made 1 sub today. Dunno what it will take to get him to stop playing this line up.
-
Not much wrong with him. The bigger problem is that we don't create many chances (and has been for years) meaning there's so much pressure on our strikers to be perfect. Ba could do it, Remy could also, but it's just not a sustainable way to play.
-
It gets boring the number of times we get into good positions and instead of creating a chance we just give the ball away. Everything needs work and we need so many new players in the transfer window it's ridiculous.
-
Why not? We were awful attacking wise and they weren't.
-
We're definitely the kings of boring football, Norwich game aside.

Just change the title to 'Ivan Toney injured' you know it's happening.
