  2. We won't pay his agent fees or the sell on fee that Lyon want us to pay St Etienne on their behalf by all accounts. Cheers. So it's Ashleys tried and tested brinksmanship approach, again. Where we either get the player in but he isn't up to speed til November, or we miss out altogether. Nailed it.

  4. 'Sell his stake' IE the entire club.
  5. Because when we do Lee Ryder can't rush to deny it quickly enough.
  6. Time to monitor the fuck out of that situation
  7. Probably because they have a poor squad and a ticking time bomb of a manager.

    Alan Pardew

You don't really want to say that stuff until the window slams shut. He's right but it'll look daft if Saurez and Bale then get sold. Surprised he didn't mention that we've managed to keep hold of Cabaye...although if a club came with an offer we'd have to consider it.

  10. His reading of the game is far superior to Taylor as well. As i said before you lose more than you gain by playing Taylor but that's just me. I can see both sides of the argument. You do lose that physicality with MYM and Colo but you also have a very slow defence that will get caught out a lot with Colo and Taylor.
  11. MYM's pace is invaluable to us. For example Walcott normally runs wild against us due to our slow defence and high line but on the last day of the season he couldn't get in behind us until MYM went off.
  12. Thanks for that, nicely argued. No worries. Keep up the brain washed agenda mate What the flying fuck are you on about? I was just discussing why Marveaux might not be selected as much as some people would like. I said I rate him personally. Jesus wept. There is no discussion though. He's not selected because Pardew prefers uncreative 'tackling' types in the midfield. He was the only one creating goals at the end of last season and a pivotal part of the team during the only period in which we looked like a free-flowing attacking team (Man Utd (a), Arsenal (a)). He contributes more than enough.

  16. About as tenuous a link as it gets.
  17. Hanley clearly pushes Walcott in front of the referee and avoids a booking. The state of refereeing man.
