Tbf that article was aimed at Huddersfield rather than us who did spectacularly bottle catching Brighton or us. Still amusing though.

I want to know what changed from last summer when he was clearly allowed to do that and January when it looked like Carr was back in the game. We weren't twenty points clear at the top. Ironically if we'd signed a couple, I reckon we'd be approaching that now.

Should have borrowed the trainers off the other cunt.

Clip of that scarf man.

£33m loss after tax with all the riches being in the PL brings??? Surely administration beckons. Would be canny after their hmrc jizzfest if that happened and they got a points deduction.

I'm loving the whinging calling Hodgson for quitting and the FA for stealing their perfect manager - in a way they're right as he would proably have kept them up again.

Non really. Ashington being a hotbed for Sunderland fans is a myth, a few of their former players from yonks ago who came from there and the myth that they had loads of fans there started. It's like saying Wallsend is a hotbed for Man Utd fans as Steve Bruce, and Carroll both played for Wallsend boys club. There is maybe 1 or two, like any town in North East with any of our clubs, but nothing that's stands out. Quite a few pits in Durham were closed in the sixties and a lot of workers did move to the Ashington area which still had mines so thats the story - they did used to have and still may have a few supporter's club branches up there.

South Shields is mainly a mackem area and further up the tyne you go the less mackem supporters you find, so you do get some in Jarrow. I haven't lived there for 20 years but shields used to be quite even - don't forget Sunderland is closer and just about easier to get to. I think football has changed over the last few decades but it was almost always an inherited thing when I was a kid rather than what I think is a more free choice nowadays. My dad did used to go and watch both clubs but was defined by who he wanted to see win the derbies which means I'm black and white. When I started going to away games regularly at the start of the 80s, people from the town or North of the river did used to mock us gently for where we came from but I always felt more at home with tynesiders due to a similar accent rather than with Mackems. You have to change on the metro if you go to sunderland. Newcastle is straight through. It's still about 50/50 from what I can tell when I drink there. Yeah but twenty minutes on a bus.

Newcastle United promoted back to the Premier League

I'd say a "first" team that includes Diame and Gouffran isn't exactly world-beating either. -
We've spent more on players than anyone but villa - I know it was balanced in monetary terms but the squad is still expensive in championship terms. Great achievement my arse.

Seven of today's team were signed by Benitez.

Probably because it was a good foul? a good foul? The guy was by the half way line ffs... From the free kick they could lump everyone forward. Yes we switched off after that. But still Colback shouldn't be doing that there. A good foul because half of our team was on the wrong side of the ball. A free kick from the half way line isnt supposed to be a goal scoring chance if you can defend even a little bit. The bloke beat him because he's shit. Then as usual he had to commit his usual shit foul to cover being shit.

I think they're already there. They aren't the team they were a few weeks ago. I watched some of their game against Norwich and the latter pushed them and were a little unlucky not to take the lead. Once Huddersfield scored they were canny but not so much before that. -

Generally happy but it was a mistake not to strengthen in January but that goes with the Ashley territory. I think we'd be up now if we'd signed Townshend and a midfielder. Sent from my ONE A2003 using Tapatalk -
I wonder if Dummet has Ritchie in his pocket in training as much as he had Knockaert. Twice.
-
I can't recall us doing that?! I think it was all part of Shepherd's casino plan which would have paid for it. Then Hall sold the club when the poor bastard was in hospital. Mates eh?

I'd happily see him die for that elbow - hopefully a pie induced heart attack.
-
Arca basically fell on Shearer and mildly knacked his knee - not that bad really. McCanns on Pistone you mentioned was an appalling challenge.
-
Out of interest... How many of those have made a terrible tackle that have resulted in a serious injury? Keane on Haaland. Gerrard was very lucky not to have done serious damage to Boateng...Bardsley to Coloccini. I've seen plenty bad tackles from the others at least a few times in their careers to suggest they are 'that type of player'. Cattermole fucked Habib Beye and Joey Barton when they played for us and he played for Wigan. He also fucked Colback (I know) as one of six bookable offences in the last SOS derby which wasn't even given as a foul. Thanks Barclay, you incompetent /biased/corrupt cunt.

Cole epitomised the sheer exuberant joy of KK's team and what it meant to follow us then. Massive hero of mine for that reason.

Unless you play for Man Utd or Chelsea of course.

If you show me anything that Louise Taylor has written about Newcastle which is even close to what this lad wrote I'll be amazed. It was only last December he wrote that he hopes we get relegated. Completely unsuitable to be reporting on SAFC. Wasn't there a poll of premier league fans where the most popular answer by a mile as to who you'd like to see relegated was SAFC? Sounds like they want local jobs for local people (fans) only - mirroring their referendum view.

He probably thought he was a bit of a lad as opposed to being appropriately dressed, unlike this lean, well dressed, specimen: http://i298.photobucket.com/albums/mm253/nufcstu/00E5A45D-DCCE-44F8-AD26-5E8DBB583891_zpszptverbd.jpg and this old chap should know much better http://i298.photobucket.com/albums/mm253/nufcstu/E8A5DC8A-6E3C-4E49-9DC2-4D73663186FA_zpsv8f2hapw.jpg The go to team for paedophiles.

The cunt should be hanged for his derby record alone.
