Four times? Not having that, I can think of more off the top of my head over his 8 years here. Doesn't have any effect on game either IMO, was good in his first couple of games back but now he's back to usual Dyer who runs around doing nothing. Only scored 4 this season, hardly groundbreaking.

Would the money go to West Ham, or to that Iranian fella?
-
Alongside a proper defensive midfielder playing just behind Martins and Owen we could see something quite special imo. With a player of his ability behind two players with their finishing ability we wouldn't need a tall striker, saying that neither are especially bad in the air for different reasons (ie Owen's positioning and Martins leap). Owen is the best in the air out of all our strikers imo, regardless of his height. He's absolutely mint.

Worked well under Souness?!

Agree with most of the above, but theres no way Dyer has improved this season. He's as shit, gutless and pointless as he's ever been.
-
Great game that. Why the fuck did Tevez not take that free kick? He was superb incidentally, good goal and 2 class assists. When you lose like that, you just know you're going down.
-
Aye that was a fucking quality goal. West Ham are awful.
-
Good goal from Tevez, he's played really well. Infact he's had a good season, just been trying too hard at times if anything.
-
Fucking hell!
-
Could do with both Blackburn and Spurs losing.
-
I want to hear Oba speak some more.
-
Bramble's long balls were appaling, but he defended well.

Is the Sheffield United game on Easter weekend?
-
Not his fault tbh, just well played by Saha to get in his way. What else could he have done?

He really is an average manager, not good enough at all. BUT, I do think he's done a decent job to recover some of the Souness mess. Although his legacy still lives on with some of his signings, we're better than we were under him. Agree on the boring count though, I don't know how he can inspire anything in the dressing room. A 2 minute interview bores the bollocks off me. Infact, based on performances on the pitch he doesn't inspire them at all.
-
Interesting. He's excellent at tackling and breaking up the play, one of the best around and he's as strong/athletic as anyone. But he's an extremely limited footballer when he's got the ball IMO.
-
Looked mint on the tele last night like.
-
Absolutely appaling end product, not a single good cross or final ball all game except for when Butt played Oba through. Fucking shit. Dyer was awful, I don't think he actually has the footballing ability to hit a ball off the ground.
-
Great stuff. Won't happen here for a good while though, Freddy knows that we pretty much fill the ground (for league games) regardless of the price. Like you say though Sniffer, the UEFA Cup games need addressing.
-
Why only 2? Tevez plays all the time, or is it only for when they played together?
-
West Ham charged for fielding ineligible players - Tevez & Mascherano. If found guilty, could see point deductions. * Would provide a link but my internet is being gay, its on Ceefax.

Take out the slow bit, and it sounds like Dyer.
-
Good player Shola, very underrated because of the fact he was utter shit a few years back. He's really improved, certainly good enough as 3rd/4th choice.
-
Van Nistelrooy did his knee in before he signed for Man Utd, wouldn't say he did too badly afterwards!
-
Can't be. For those pushing Dyer for CM. True enough that he's better than the average parka but he's not good enough in that role for where we want to be. Not good enough in any role tbh. N'Zogbia has been pretty shit this season (remember he only got injured in December, had Aug-Dec playing), but I hope thats just a case of 2nd season syndrome as we all saw how good he can be last year.
