Do you think we could find a big enough picture of Albert Luque?

    End of Season DVD Title?

Add the word "useless" between you and cock and that's pretty much spot on. There wasn't room on the front of the DVD, i didn't want the lettering to be too small. Glenn Roeder doesn't make excuses for the DVD title! It's not an excuse, it's a statistic

  6. Carr was a better left back today than Solano was a right back. One of his worst defensive performances in the 2nd half IMO
  7. The defence were bad once again but the attack was not much better. Barely played with commitment or determination. Reading quite fighting and deserved their win. We deserved nowt. They aren't playing for the club anymore or for the manager. I think Roeder's lost the dressing room. And N'Zogbia? hate to say it but his career here is over. He was shit tonight, kept losing the ball whenever he touched it and offered nothing to the game.
  8. They should really rename "Sod's law" to "Newcastle law"
  9. Newcastle and City favoured destinations for Allardyce by Oliver Kay, The Times Sam Allardyce resigned as Bolton Wanderers manager yesterday to pursue a new challenge, feasibly at Manchester City or Newcastle United, after suspicions over his future plans led the club to bring forward his planned departure at the end of the season. Allardyce informed Phil Gartside, the Bolton chairman, on Friday that he intended to leave the club and take a sabbatical after eight years in charge at the Reebok Stadium. Gartside suspected that he had lined up another job and even contacted City officials to ask whether this was the case before reluctantly deciding yesterday to accept his resignation with immediate effect and to replace him with Sammy Lee, his assistant. Lee’s appointment could be confirmed as early as today, but Allardyce’s future is less clear. His prospects of landing the City job, occupied at present by Stuart Pearce, appear to be largely reliant on a takeover bid by Ray Ranson, the club’s former player. Ranson’s hopes of gaining power at the City of Manchester Stadium remain in the balance, however, with two consortiums — one American and the other led by Thaksin Shinawatra, the deposed Prime Minister of Thailand — preferred by the club’s board. Newcastle, meanwhile, have yet to make a decision on Glenn Roeder’s future as manager. Allardyce rejected the job in 2004, but is certain to be among the contenders if Roeder is dismissed. The Tyneside club have also shown interest in Sven-Göran Eriksson, the former England head coach, as revealed by The Times this month. Senior Newcastle officials last night distanced themselves from a bid for Allardyce’s services. Sources close to Allardyce have indicated that he would be interested in the Newcastle job and also that of City, in the event of a takeover, but also that, as with Alan Curbishley’s resignation at Charlton Athletic a year ago, he would welcome a period away from the game if the right opportunity does not arise. http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/sport/football/premiership/bolton/article1723229.ece
  10. Harper Solano Taylor Bramble Carr Dyer Emre Butt Milner Owen Ameobi Subs: Krul, Parker (if fit enough), Martins, Sibierski, Gooch Bring on Martins for Owen at half time, Bring on Sibi for Ameobi after 60 mins or so
  11. If Owen and Ameobi are the starting forward line tomorrow, I'll be excited and shitting myself. I can't wait to see those two back together and with Martins because they will score goals but I fear it's too early to be starting them.

    Stunning Predictions

Sure that was a prediction instead of just pure blind hope? A bit of both

    Stunning Predictions

...and also, I spent the entire summer before 05/06 after he was linked with us stating that we'd sign Michael Owen. No one believed me and I stood with that prediction until August 30th. When I got a phone call saying that he'd signed, I got so much pleasure in ringing my dad and telling him that I was right. I made him apologise

    Stunning Predictions

The night before the Spurs game last season, I put a bet on that we'd win 3-1. Stook a fiver on at odds of 28/1 or something and got slated off everyone around me saying we'd get turned over. 30 minutes into the game we were winning 3-1. Gotta say, the longest hour of my life but it was worth it - came out with £140

The rules are weird. You can represent a team in the UEFA Cup and then be transfered and play for another team in the CL. However you can't represent a team in the CL then be transfered and then play for another team in the UEFA Cup.
  18. We showed some real grit and determination for the first game in a long time at SJP, deserved its applause
  19. Caroll was great for the small period of time he was on. The way he held the ball up against Terry is something we've been crying out for all season.
  20. 10/10 for Taylor so far, very good performance.
  21. Parker is a good player but he absolute shit when he is put in DM just behind Emre.
