Could easily play with each other. Isak up top, Pedro SS/RW/LW, would've been absolutely saucy and they would compliment each other very well.

I have absolutely nothing against Hall, but we lost out on Pedro for similar type of money we paid/will pay for Hall. I honestly feel like Pedro would've been an absolute cracking signing for us and really versatile too.

I just don't understand the nonsense some people spout though. He has never ridiculed us as fans, always handles the media really well, doesn't use cliche sayings like "dust ourselves doon". Imagine if Arsenal sacked Arteta when they were in a rut for example.

Replacing Howe with managers who had honking spells at a team that I would class as league rivals makes absolutely no sense. Conte made an absolute mess of the Spurs job. Don't even get me started on Mourinho. Half of the players will be thrown under the bus within a month. People are being irrational - Howe has his faults but if you think Howe is stubborn with his selections/tactics....

Whats the correlation? I don't see us spending a chuck of our money for a player that will need replacing in 4 seasons. It doesn't go with our transfer model, but we'll see.

I can't see how anyone watched that and thought "aye not bad" We were poor, and even with a penalty save I genuinely think the score flattered us. It will be interesting what Howe does next few weeks, some of our most reliable players are starting to look a bit jaded lately also.
