  1. I'm a girl so I'm allowed to be in tears This is how it used to feel when he was manager first time round. The positivity, determination, belief and understanding is all still there. He was honest and passionate and looks like he cannot wait to get his claws into the job. I haven't been this positive about my club in years and I LOVE it! How many people wish they were Newcastle fans after watching that press conference...
  2. Play him while we've got no other options then get rid as soon as possible. We're entering a new phase and we do't need all the shit that comes along with him
  3. SSN currently replaying his 2006 interview where he absolutely states that Portsmouth will be his last club and that he wouldn't go anywhere else. Please let this be true.
  4. Despite his obvious frailties, the pride and passion of Sir Bobby was evident in every word he spoke on that stage tonight. His eyes sparkled as he spoke of his career and how much joy it has brought to him. Like others, I watched it with tears in my eyes. Partly because of the obvious love everyone has for this great, great gentleman and partly through anger for the way he was eventually treated at out "great" club. Also for the way some of our 'bling boys' at the time dared to disrespect this vastly experienced and genuinely good man. I felt very proud tonight that I come from the same part of the world as Sir Bobby and that he managed my club. He is so very loved and a round of applause that went on 10 times as long as it did tonight still would not be enough to show in how much esteem this man is held. Watching him lean on Sir Alex for support as he walked off the stage made me terribly sad that his body is not as strong as his indomitable spirit and passion.
  5. thats not newcastle i was born in the Q.E in 93 I'm sat in the Q.E. right now Born South Shields, lived in Washington then Manchester for 10 years. Now in Gateshead.
  6. I disagree. I think it's part of our identity. Either play it every home game or not at all.
  7. I want it back. The beginning of the match seems a bit 'meh' without it.
  8. There's a condition called Sudden Adult Death Syndrome which could be an explanation for some of the recents deaths and just a coincidence that it happened to footballers. It happened to Terry Yorath's son Daniel when they were playing footy in the back garden of their home and it happened to one of my mates in 2000 except he died in his sleep - absolutely nothing found on post-mortem. Fit young lads, no medical conditions, no explanation. Just a horrible, tragic, inexplicable thing
  9. Why? Has he fucked his knee as well? Nowhere nearly as bad as he fucked the club. Howay man, Dave
  10. Why? Has he f***** his knee as well? http://www.steadman-hawkins.com/aboutUs.asp Steadman specifically specialises in knee injuries, reconstruction and rehabilitation. Not broken lower legs. Yes, I know I'm pushing the point but I also know what I'm talking about.
  11. Strictly knees though, ain't he? Yup. Not much cop with magically healing tibs and fibs like.
  12. Why? Has he fucked his knee as well?
  13. Fucking hell! Some of you lot seriously need to get a grip. Have you any idea how pathetic you sound?!
  14. Unfortunately it happens every day to people regardless of lifestyle or fitness. Terrible and tragic.
  15. Whoopy-doo. He scored against a bunch of players that are only good enough to play in the MLS league. When has anyone here ever taken any notice of any result in the MLS until he went over there? Now it's all "OMG!! BECKHAM SCORES FREE KICK!!11" Really, who cares.....?
  16. Stop being so logical. Can't you see he is the devil incarnate?!
  17. What a bunch of clueless fucking pricks. If Dyer wants to go - let him go. No-one is indispensible.
  18. Nice to see that all that time spent with the Sporting Chance bloke made him think twice before he stubbed a cigar out in a youth players eye. Oh no, wait....

    The FA Cup Final

They do that all the time. Pisses me off. It was funny the first time about 3 years ago but it's just s*** now. Thought they were just doing it coz Chelsea kept claiming hand ball all the time tbh. Melinda?? Thats a shock. Oh well at least its not Jordan. Blair and Jordin (stupid spelling) in the final. Jordin will win like. Oh look, it's gone to extra time.....
