Regarding adding to the Millburn and Leazes, would a level 8 be any higher than the likes of Barca's ground etc? They seem huge. I know it's not ideal but better than nothing I suppose. Keep the tickets cheap and boost attendances. I wouldnt mind going up there if it was cheap.

Flatten the East stand, build a new bigger, steeper East stand in same footprint. Bolt five gigantic heat lamps to the back to solve Leazes Terrace sunlight problems, job done.

With the importance of NUFC to the city and region especially post takeover, you would think they would get priority over everything when it comes to land in the city. Surely it would cost pif peanuts to buy all the land on the potential sites and keep it dormant until if and when they start to seriously look at their stadium options.

I sat through the full half hour of that mad mistake video at 3am this morning when I couldn't sleep. Fascinating stuff. I remember standing at the gates on the corner of the Millburn/Leases in 95 against QPR trying to get any glimpse we could when Beardsley nestled one in the stanchion and we all burst into the ground during the celebrations. Some reet owld bastards were screaming at the stewards to get us all kicked out. Was just amazing as a teenager to actually get in the ground back then. Cup games and Europe were your only chance.
