I think we will get 10, draw with Stoke and win against Pompey, Fulham and 'Boro, that should see us safe.

Its moments like this, where you read the interviews of Bramble and Faye, and truly realise what a pack of angry hounds we have for fans at times. He's had 3 managers, a new language, and a club that has held the stability of paper in the wind. But screw that he's £10m for £10m you buy the perfect defender who will slot into the back. Look at Skrtl, Agger, Vidic how long did they take to adapt to this league. Agreed. Skrtl hasnt fully adapted to the league yet and Agger is in and out of the Liverpool side. Took Vidic about a season to fully adapt and now he is regarded as the best defender in the world by some.

Two words - Leeds United, it could happen to us. No it couldn't. Leeds didn't own their most saleable assets. NUFC does. It barely matters for some clubs mind. Real Madrid were hundreds of millions of pounds in debt. No worries, sold their training ground back to the govt for £200m, given a new one for free. (disclaimer: this is my memory. may not be exact). Sounds about right from what I can remember of it. The King of Spain got involved and wrote off all there debt IIRC.

He isnt a £10m defender but he didnt determine his price tag. If he is here next season, IMO, he will come into his own.

Smith on the right? I know CH doesnt have a clue, but really? He cant, can he.............

Kadar, Lua Lua and Krul, in that order.

And now Coral have decided to suspend my account because they need to see some form of ID, 1 hour before KO. Anyone had any problem like this before?

as will the days of top flight football for better or worse, as you say In the long run healthy financial status is way much important than big money buys! Fat Fred is one of the main reasons why we're fighting against the relegation every season now and the current global financial crisis haven't helped us one bit. Wait till Leazes sees this!

How much is a half decent offer? £10m Ashley & Co spent on Colo? £10 and a pack of Tudors would be enough for Ashley, tbh. Oh right so he is asset stripping by selling everyone on the cheap.... How did you know that, have you been speaking to Dennis?

Colo had a very good game I thought. I would expect more off a £10 million defender. His distribution was abysmal, especially his passing. Nothing special but nothing crap, as some people on here will let you believe! That would make sense if he hadn't passed the ball very well today. Gave the ball away afew times from what I can remember, maybe its just the ale, so forgive me! -

Id go with all of that, apart from the last bit about winning the game. -
Jose Enrique out for at least three weeks with hamstring injury

Aye, had a good game. Hope he can manage to keep this up now, especially now JFK isnt about the place to release stupid comments to the media about him. -

Martins has been injured and obviously isnt 100% fit. God knows why he didnt start with Jonas though, at least he saw the light & took Duff off at HT. -
Class defender, no doubt he will be away when Ashley & co get a half decent offer for him at the end of the season.
-
Had a decent game today but keeps getting caught out of position too much for my liking.
