Would you have left something that special to sign for a club that was going nowhere, without 2 pennys to rub together? You look after number 1 first, doesnt mean that he didnt care about NUFC. Normally the season review DVD has come out long before now. Does anyone know what's happened here? The club said that they were not going to be releasing a season review at the start of this season IIRC.

The guy who owns the club (Mike Connett) has had 14 failed businesses!! Why the hell is he allowed to run a football club!?

People around here dont care about Vics anymore (Northwich, where I live, not on this forum!), especially since they moved from the Drill Field (in the middle of town) to the Victoria Stadium (about 30 mins walk from the town centre in the middle of nowhere!). The club doesnt even have any assets as the current chairman bought the land through another company name (Beaconnet) so the club, Northwich Victoria, is just a name. Maybe someone will come in at the 11th hour and save them but I cant really see it happening because once the Inland Revenue have finished with them, debts will be mounting upto £500K+. Alot of money at that level and potential new owners will not be seeing any return on their money. The hearing is on Wednesday next week anyway, lets see what happens their first.

Thing is though, Milner has been more impressive than Taylor for me (who got a call up to train with the squad). Any experience at that level will only benefit us in the long run, IMO.

TBH, if he was good enough for the England squad he would have been called up by now (being our most capped U21 player ever). I just dont think he is going to get a chance under Mr Constipated because of the likes of Young & Downing. IMO, he has got to be worth a go against Estonia, to see how he fares at that level. It can only do NUFC a favour in the long term.

I actually think that would be a good idea , instead of the Carling Cup. Would help the Scottish game come along leaps and bounds and give something the U.K could be proud of for a change instead of our overrated bunch of pansys!!!!
