  1. Be rather ironic if he ends up leaving us to stay in the premier league...Mr Fishy lips may well come a sniffing! Fair play to the lad he has performed way above my expectations for him.
  2. Wonder how much we will get for him in the summer.
  3. He is shit, has shown he is shit and will not bring us back up either. Has to go, simply has to.
  4. I went with 'okay' with a leaning towards 'fairly shit' Positives and negatives balancing each other out to some extent imo. Worried about our ability to score goals. New lad has got to hit the ground running, adjust damn quick and hope that Wijnaldum, Perez, Sissoko etc start seriosuly chipping in. We seemed fixated with Berahino to a large extent and that blinkered approach may well screw us. The whole saga at West brom smells very fishy and we should have realised he wasn't going anywhere Defensive capabilities are still massivley worrying too, they must have faith in the left backs being fit sooner rather than later? I still fancy we are for the drop.
  5. He loves pissing on peoples chips doesn't he!
  6. Except Bony and Benteke are nothing like Berahino. No you are right in terms of play, but they are both proven goalscorers in this division, which is what we need. Not a chance in hell for any of them imo anyway.
  7. Draw for me.... Goal fest as we are both shit at defending
  8. This may have more to do with the struggle at West Brom between corrupt Pulis and their chairman than it does with us ? We should have had other targets plainly as well mind. Hoy in a massive bid for Benteke, he clearly isn't wanted by Siegfried. or smack in a similair bid for Bony. With the news about Pep, bound to be some nervous fuckers at Citeh....
  9. Pardcunt out at least Come on you Spurs!!
  10. Aye, screams panic. I've said it before - signing so many first team players in January I don't think is the best thing to do in the short term. Although I think if you are going down that path - it's better if the players are familiar with the PL. I would have thought that was the main reason why players are signed in Jan though, for the immediate short term effect? If all is rosy in the garden then sure it would be daft to disrupt a side that is doing well. But for the struggling sides, new first team starters are surely a good thing to try and kick start a revival?? Agree with the being familiar or suited to the PL bit. Would be delighted with what we have done if we also get a Berahino/Bony stature striker and a left back personally.
  11. Lucky scousers. Blatant hand ball by Caulker (double hit) and also one very similar to Mbembas against Man U.
  12. This stage of the window is exactly where we are waiting time on him. The players we wanted to buy can't be bought at the prices we are offering. Then we should just save our money and use what we have and hope for the best. Wasting any amount of money on this useless cunt would be just tossing it away imo Be better of taking a punt on a lad from the lower leagues...
  13. Looks like everyone is giving up on Berahino... That Secret Footballer article looks more and more like the dogs bollocks : shameful and borderline corrupt imo.
  14. IF we sign Gomis then we deserve all we get, which will be relegation, nailed on. We have given some hope, some limited smattering of a sense that we are trying to claw our way out of this shit by some positive signings. Passing in midfield, some pace on the flanks, looking at our defensive weak point (one of the two) in loaning a LB.. Then IF we address the main issue, goals, by signing an absolute lump, a carthorse of a player: with no pace, no movement and an arse the size of Bimpys mrs then we deserve to be shot with shit. Utterly pointless, we may as well persist with what we have or recall Armstrong. Gomis is utter shit.
  15. Get in!!! Fucking biased BBC cunts will be blubbing at half time...
  16. It's not like we've reacted sensibly TBF. I think the majority on here and the majority viewpoint is extremely sensibly regarding this. To question who, why and what on earth anyone connected to NUFC thought this crassly, idiotic and moronic idea would be benficial to our low on confidence players seems eminently sensible? If a friendly was needed there are far more sensible options, both locally and nationally that could have been sourced. Anyone who thinks this does not give their club a boost and ours a dent is mistaken imo. As triggs said the bigger question is how the f*** can a team lose 6-0. But to have questions over the whole rationale that went into this utterly cretinous decision is justified, again imo.
  17. Good luck to the lad. I'm sure he will be happier and perform better back in France. I'm one of the minority (looking at the poll on here) who have never rated him, nor thought he had shown anything at all to justify his place in the team or indeed at the club. Think Vlads post sums it up nicely, a very poor transfer and tawdry episode from virtually every parties perspective.

    Loïc Remy

As much as I rate Mitrovic as a prospect, he really needs replacing in the side as our main striker or else we will be relegated. Using the lad wisely from the bench and letting him know he has a longer term future with us (dependant on development), will help him much more than him constantly missing chances in such a high pressured and desperate situation imo. We need goals now and at this stage he isn't offering them. A strike force of Remy, Perez and him would be a very promising combination, especially with Armstrong away and getting a good grounding too...
