Diving, feigning and flopping are so widespread and almost systematic that there needs to be a shift in thinking and laws. Been a fan of Rooney, but don't really see how his international career is worth celebrating more than his contemporaries given his record at major tournaments. The fact we got this far for the first time in almost thirty years is down to more than one single factor, but Rooney not being involved anymore has to be one.
