Exactly. Almost like clockwork every year Huge talent, but awful to watch. No sympathy for him. When? Last year he barely made it back for the world cup after his injury and that's the only time an injury has put him out of a big CL game iirc Didn't he get injured in the 14 world cup also? Meh, I'm keeping my fake narrative regardless. Really dislike the guy.

Bordeaux's attacking options are pretty terrible at the moment. Won't walk into the team obviously, but could get very decent minutes to prove himself.
-
Makes almost even less sense in this case though, because is his stance now that he uses his platform working for BT to disrespect and mock a fanbase?
-
Was just going to post that tweet. Wow, he just keeps doubling down. ... What an absolute coward he is.

That's the calibre of striker you get for 18 million these days though. We know what you get for 5 million.

Struggle to listen to anything football related when we do poorly... So yeah, haven't listened to the Ramble in years! This one sounds like a must listen though!

Breaking theirs and our transfer record on what is ultimately a pretty average striker. That's what it takes though.

I can put up with them being thick, but Rio was going over and above on behalf of Ashley, peddling lies on his behalf was in poor taste and he hit rock bottom frankly. That's what I was thinking. It would be one thing not criticising Ashley, for whatever reason like protecting a business interest for example, but to actively back him with such false information was just disgraceful.

Got the full set done and selling it as a print now: https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/660387742/newcastle-united-panini-cheapskates?ref=shop_home_active_1&crt=1 Already got this print for Christmas https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/610971358/newcastle-united-a3-subbuteo-print?ga_search_query=Newcastle&ref=shop_items_search_2# ... Can't find any justifiable reason to not get the panini one as well

Diving, feigning and flopping are so widespread and almost systematic that there needs to be a shift in thinking and laws. At the moment contact is entitlement to do anything you want, and complete absolution. Like Salah here. We can, and must have situations where there can be a foul by the defender AND an overreaction worthy of a suspension by the forward.

I'm not too bothered about the capacity, more the upkeep. But it does highlight the gap. Clubs are building, and we can't even give ours a wash.

A strike that went in off the bar? Everton. On the subject of his less celebrated goal, always loved his free kick away Derby in the all blue kit. Just whallopped it in from an unexpected angle like it was not big shit.

Nah, can't see him ever managing the club again. My guess is that he's made his peace with that also. Maybe the youngsters at some point, but certainly not first team or close. Given how outspoken he is about Ashley he would quite certainly get some form of embassador role under a new regime. Would seem like a quick win for anyone coming in.

The question could then become: would people swap winning the league in 96 for Shearer then never joining.

Cheats prosper, crappy decisions everywhere ... and Austin will probably get a suspension for that.

Been a fan of Rooney, but don't really see how his international career is worth celebrating more than his contemporaries given his record at major tournaments. The fact we got this far for the first time in almost thirty years is down to more than one single factor, but Rooney not being involved anymore has to be one.

The referee in the OM-PSG game had a right mare it seems. How surprising.
