Pre-season (2026/27): NUFC to play Everton at Murrayfield on 12/08/26
M4 replied to bowlingcrofty's topic in Football
Going into town and to the game on Saturday with my 2 little boys, so starting to feel a bit of concern over all this. I suppose the best plan is to get near and into the stadium as soon as possible? Hopefully, everything is smooth enough. -
Oh Louis ...

I think that's how the system works in the French pyramid that only top 2 tiers can be pro. It's been dire for many years now, they escaped relegation to the third tier at the last second a couple of years ago. Had an appeal hearing logged for tomorrow but because every buyout lead has fallen through, they just pulled out of appealing and risking relegation for 4th tier and accepted this fate. Not sure what's going to happen with the stadium. New one was built for Euro 2016.

As a big headed cap wearer, can't help but want it too. But then they say snapback but also that it's also fitted and then sizes S/M/L which isn't how it normally works Yeah I don't think they've got the lingo quite down

What we saying, first shot on target 75th ? 80th ? Same awful bullshit. The football terrorist strikes again
-
And we live to be bored again another day! ENG GUR LAND
-
Very good strike. The ambivalence is there. Not sure what to think; we'll just sit back again
-
No changes after 70+ minutes... Well done Gareth.
-
And Kane just as embarrassing as ever with the flop.
-
My god; this has gone full blown horrendous again. Now 60 minutes without a shot on target.
-
And just another 45 minutes without a shot on target. Cool, no big deal.
-
And now we all have to sit tight watching this shit until the 70th minute.
-
Kane is so tediously shameless.
-
Absolutely. If there's the win and the performance, then it will be tough to keep a lid on it. Slightly worried with it being the exact same personnel though. Will that not just hinder the chance of real change in the playing style...
-
That was so bad There's so much to pick at : Slow, lazy, entitled, lethargic, lack of quality, lack of application, lack of adventure... It's actually quite an achievement to miss the mark this much on so many aspects.

Good for him, fucking hell He looked (we made him look, whichever) particularly mobile.

Time is a great healer... Just what a few years and the passage of Steve Bruce can do. Pardew was however indeed so toxic. The original Ashley miserabler. Ahh, the list.
-
Most of the aftermath from these incidents is tedious as hell, but I do love the random horror show of making up rules and interpretations that come up. Two favourites from today: "All of the ball that's on the ground is out, so that's enough. In any other circumstances that would be judged over the line" "Rule states that there has to be two players behind the goalkeeper for the player scoring to be onside."

Great photos... especially that Chilli Padi invasion! Gutted not to have been part of such a day, hope everyone is well and had a class time

Being back in the official merchandise game now but with 2 little boys can get expensive. Got the snidey ones last year, but this season got the full shirt, name and numbers... Not sure I'll be doing that every year though. Especially with how much use and quick wear and tear they get out of it! Speaking of which, is there a snidey site that does the grandad collar shirt but kids size ?

Still shocked and pettiness and flopping of the PSG players. The Burn goal is a great example, 2 of them just dropping to the ground more interested in crying as we bang three chances at their goal. Still, the ref gave them a lot. Just glad it didn't cost us tonight. Fuck them.

Played to his strengths He was immense. So pleased for him.

Indeed. So calm and composed. Curled it perfectly around the defender.
