He was trying it on every week at Liverpool. Just gets away with it more now so will try more often. Just like why Ronaldo was glad to move to Spain as well.
-
And no one is defending or getting defensive of what Premier League players do. You are so far beyond missing the point. What is annoying is you even bring up Premier League players in the first place, just constantly deflecting any blame or responsibility Barca players should be taking for their actions. Just like any other player that does it be it Real, ManU or Nufc. It's attitudes like that of passing the buck that means we get spectacles like last week.
-
Yeah, but some guy in League 1 dived last season. So that makes it okay those Barca players to do every day. No one's saying that. You mouth off about Barcelona diving then when you're given proof that premier league players do it aswell you get defensive. Grow up. Yes, that is the type of response you give every single time. Every one knows almost all players do it to certain degrees. Barca players get stick for their behaviour independently of anything else. To try so constantly to deflect that in any way is stupid. You telling anyone else to 'grow up' on this subject is highly ironic. And this isn't some anti-Barca sentiment before you start with that this week too. It's anti blinkered fanboyism.
-
Tell you what's another good thing to watch for those: every single Barca game.
-
Yeah, but some guy in League 1 dived last season. So those Barca players are fully justified to do it every day.
-
Gerrard - Diver, Cheat, National Disgrace Search that in youtube. Give it a rest you utter blinkered fool. What part of "far worse" don't you understand?
-
Too busy slamming his cock in his Barcelona pencil case to understand what's going on. Actually may have to hope for a Man U win in the final. Horrible feeling. You're not a Newcastle fan then. Pathetic.
-
Fucking hell Keep trying to justify such attitudes.

His second ever tweet is simply: "newcastle united fc"
-
As if you disagree with Pissi's post!

He's never, ever leaving people. Anybody that still has even an ounce of hope that he will, needs to forget it and get real. He'll always manage to wriggle a new contract out of someone, will always turn down any outside interest. He's the anti-Carroll in that respect, can't get rid of him even when the club wanted to.
-
Both sentences correct He's the one with the 'no brained' posts.

Yeap, spot on Jonny. At full speed and first viewing I would have given it too. As Redknapp said, it was an honest decision, one the lino felt was the correct one. It was just wrong.
-
Thought pel at first but actually seemed Kaboul did get his studs to the ball. Despite Alan Smith saying otherwise.
-
Always seemed like an honest hard working player. Was unstoppable in that season with Leeds. Shame about all the injuries... And shame he couldn't slot that ball in against Marseille
-
Indeed. And again bring in something like Hawkeye and that would take pressure off the linesmen as well.
-
Nope, not fully over indeed Everybody wave hello to Sepp Blatter.
-
That looked in to me.
-
Sandro has done his job really well since that outrageous display of contempt for his manager's tactics.
-
Torres always seems to want about five touches of the ball even when it's there to be hit.
-
Yes, a young player getting better with time. I can see why that concept would blow Shola's mind.

What part is that referring to? Video reviews should be in place for any type of incident whatsoever. Dives, play acting, rolling around on the floor too long, violence etc... In specifically a situation where a ref is being conned but isn't sure whether it's a dive, or foul and either takes no action or makes a wrong decision, I feel it would be counter productive to sanction the ref. Obviously if a ref is constantly making mistakes and bad calls, that's a different issue. Edit: And fuck all that silliness about "if a ref has seen an incident but dealt with it in a wrong way, we can't change it"... Refs should be applauded for getting things right, but can't see everything. If they know the right sanctions will be made in time it would take some pressure off them. Any sanction taken on the pitch should be able to be increased or decreased upon review according to what is fair.
-
Wahey, was about to post exactly that. That whole clip is just desperately sad.
-
One of the big plus points also with having video review bans, is that it would take pressure off refs. Starting to give refs sanctions for missing something would be extremely counter productive. Just such a win-win-win situation for all involved... retarded a solid, clear system hasn't already been in place for years.

^ That's what UEFA are hiding behind for sure. How about they start with the obvious ones and go from there? Seriously, it isn't hard. So many players should be charged with bringing the game into disrepute. I don't understand why FIFA/UEFA (just like goal line technology) can't see that it's in their best interest long term to clamp down, because it's killing the game as a spectacle and killing the game's credibility. The biggest problem though is no one is willing to look at themselves, every one passes the buck by saying "ohh but they do this, and those guys do that". Last night was an utter joke and we're going to see it again and again.
