  1. Refs in England seem to be some of the only ones around to actually use their brains, use logic and use common sense. The fact that players just "get on with it more" makes it a joy to watch. I often wonder how come football is so popular in other countries where their leagues are full of diving fannies.

    Happy Birthday

haha, that is a great fact! dont believe it Ok. Well seeing as it is true I think I will believe it
  3. Oh dear. Was always going to happen at this club I guess, but animated bright adboards are very annoying.
  4. They said that at first... I think they're really not keen on people trying to come up with their own initiatives I don't see how they could justify not being 100% behind such a squeme. They pelt up with so much "Fair Play" bullshit, that to be against this would be retarded.

    Kieron Dyer

^ BBC are still saying it's believed to be around £8m though

Shola was lucky enough to get his foot in the door first. Wasn't room for two average strikers so the better one left
  7. Yeah, highlights of 0-0s are awesome How fucking patronising of you to insinuate I'm too stupid to take highlights as what they are and be blinded by them. I don't see how the level is that much different than say The Championship for example and that is one of the most exciting leagues to watch. When most teams are on a level playing field you can have entertaining match-ups. Anyway no point arguing every stick to their guns I guess. As I snobbery is what is most annoying.
  8. ^ Indeed. Because aye, it's unsporting to not give the ball away to a team trying to get an equaliser When you possession of the ball you do what you want with it.
  9. They should just introduce a "Just Get on with it or it's a 2 game ban + 2 weeks salary fine" rule. Applicable in a multitude of situations. Seriously.
  10. You have obviously never seen a game. it is the worst football I have ever seen in my life. I often watch games and highlights. So what if it isn't perfect football? At least there are low levels of bullshit and it's a lot more fun to watch than a lot of European games! Football snobbery is what is annoying. If that is the worst the worst football you've seen then you must only watch ManU or Barca every week.
  11. MLS can be great league to watch. Entertaining. You can see the goal at Mlsnet.com by the way. Was a quality free kick.
  12. One of the few players who I think is worth every penny of the hype from the media. A joy to watch.

    Michael Chopra

Was watching a review of the first day yesterday on French tv... and they said it was Chopra's first ever top flight goal... which was seriously annoying >
  16. Maybe hes a tad too overweight... Nah, even if that was true, it wouldnt affect the bones in his feet! His knees would be the ones to start fucking up. This is very gutting. My favourite non Nufc player, already out on the sidelines
  17. Doesnt matter that much though that he hasn't scored. When he's on the pitch England are a completely different side. Quite amazing that he's had this same injury 3 times in his career already...

No Boos mate, that was MOTD editing,as he came on they cut to a Spurs throw that shouldnt of been given, thats what the Boos were for I can't remember hearing any boos at all while watching the game live on sky... so that might be true. Are all the people who claim they heard boos basing it the MotD footage?

They seem to have cranked up the bad behaviour again over the last few years! Maybe doing well in Europe has inflated their egos a bit. Well on their way to giving all brits a bad name once again.

Gutted about Rooney though that's pretty unlucky for him
  21. Except that he wasn't really effective... on a few occasions when there was finally chance for some restbite he needlessly fouled their players giving possession straight back to them.
  22. That 4-0 home win against WestHam in 2002 comes to mind... last time we were top after day one surely.

On the bench, the only new signing in the squad. No Hargreaves then :(

Sidwell has number 9? As if there weren't enough reasons already to dislike Chelsea... what the hell is that? not giving it to a striker...
