In a perfect world the best man for the job would be English, that's always been my preference. Unfortunately there's a dearth of quality English managers, even good ones are hard to find. Given this unfortunate situation then looking elsewhere/abroad is pretty much inevitable.

Always gets my goat because I don't agree, but I can see why they would view it that way. Surely the attacking side needs to get the advantage? Goals are what it's all about. Couldn't agree more. They know they're in the spotlight and the pressure is on them but they flagging is the better option, for them, if they're not sure.

Think Krul's the only player/person associated with the club who I'd be disappointed to see leave. He's been here for ages and is the only one who actually "gets it". The rest of them contain some canny players but I've not got any connection to them, they just happen to play for my club for the time being until they're moved on for the right price. If Krul goes then I genuinely won't give a fuck about any of them anymore.

I can accept losing narrowly to two good teams in Italy and Uruguay, they're not mugs, we lost to both though. Losing whilst giving up the ball so often, looking clueless and humping it, switching off defensively to a long goal kick, not tracking back are just amateurish errors. They looked disorganised, deflated, negative and never settled into a rhythm at all. Headless chicken stuff and that's not acceptable at this level.

Just haven't been good enough, no point in shifing the blame and looking for scapegoats, just flat out not good enough. Hope someone's got the bollocks to admit it in the next day or so.

Few questions: 1) Why did our players start to focus on the World Cup before the Xmas decorations were down? 2) Why were we so hampered when we had so few players actually there? 3) Why did it not affect other teams in the same way? Southampton for example. 4) Why is he unable to focus his squad's attention for only half a season?
