We're on course to be on TV 15 times in the Premier League, as opposed to 18 times last year. That's about £1.5m less brass. And Ashley is due to take out another £18m on his loan this year too isn't he? Or is it £11m? One or the other either way. Stability fucking rules.

Currently having an ongoing discussion with a bloke at work about this. He reckons all of his mates are all coming round to my way of thinking and all want him out after previously being behind him. He can't understand it and his only defence of Pardew seems to consist of "well the next bloke they hire may be worse". That's it. His only remaining reason for not pulling the trigger is that the replacement may be worse. Mentally ill tbh.

£800k a place last season in merit payment iirc, so we're looking at £5 or 6m. To go on top of the £20m that was spent in January buying this fucking cretin half a team to ensure we stayed up.....which still isn't secure with just 4 games to go. Stability costs money.

Shoots for the Moon whilst the manager is happy to live in the gutter. Aye, it's stupidly and wildly optimistic but at least the bloke wants to aim high. As opposed to our cowardly prick of a manager who's happy just to do the bare minimum possible to simply stay in the division and avoid relegation. Only a matter of time before the players simply give up on this prick and walk away on him/us. He's a cancer that needs cutting out of the club asap.

"goes a little bit unnoticed" He mentions it every fucking week and has done for months. That's his default excuse for every poor performance and result. He never mentions it when we lose though the spineless prick.

How much of a cunt do you have to be to bite someone?

Or Stoke? Or Fulham from the previous few seasons? We're 25 points short of where we were at this point last season. We also played our worst football of the season after the group stages and before the knock-out part started. It's bullshit, he's totally mismanaged his squad throughout the season.

If we give the any time and space then they'll tear us a new arsehole. Loads of pressing, loads of energy and we've got to take the chances when they come around. -
Really frustrating to see other managers being astute enough to change personnel and/or formation to have a positive impact on a game that was drifting away. Smart management from AVB and the polar opposite to Pardew. He'd have brought Shola on. He's light years behind his fellow managers in this league.

It's not about apportioning blame, it's about accepting responsibility for the situation we're in. As manager he's ultimately responsible for both the results and the performances of his team. HIS team. If he's happy to get his cock sucked by the LMA when things are going well then he's got to be prepared to accept all responsibility for this shitstorm of a season. he fact he makes excuses and blames everyone and everything apart from himself makes me resent him even more. He's a coward.

Have you only been following us for a couple of years? The seasons under Souness were far worse. Far worse in what way? I can safely say I've enjoyed two games this season - Chelsea and Bordeaux at home. In Souness' first season, we got just as far in the UEFA Cup but far more enjoyably because we scored a shitload more goals (28 vs 13), got to an FA Cup semi (Spurs and Chelsea at home were great days), the league campaign was fucking dire but we still managed more away wins, less away defeats, less home defeats. We also finished 11 points clear of the drop, which we'll be lucky to do this season. It was rotten and yet there's literally nothing about this season which is better. "Far worse"?! As usual you're talking utter toss. All of this is true. Souness was appalling, this is worse.

Valencia have just scored 4 goals in 5 minutes.

My view is that Pardew is out the door this summer. We are going to avoid relegation by the skin of our teeth with Sunderland finishing ahead of us. The limp end to the season will see Ashley finally lose patience. Most of us knew this season was going to be shit way back in November. The only distinction was the exact shade of brown. And it's looking canny fucking dark atm.

Keep reading and hearing about how cheap Pardew is to keep on as boss as a defence for not sacking him. Wonder how many more times Ashley's going to have to buy him half a squad just to give us a fighting chance of staying in the division? That's going to become very expensive very quickly. He's just really poor at his job, full stop.

Neesy's gan fuckin ments, man. Wew.

Our record when we score first is W8, D3 L4. When we concede first it's W2, D2 L13.

Gained 12, lost 18.

We should just wait for HT, let the opposition go to the dressing room but we just stay on the park and just knock the ball about like we do in the warm up. Fuck Pardew, fuck his teamtalks, just ignore HT totally and wait for the opposition to come back out. I'm a visionary. I like it. Maybe ban him from the touchline to be sure. ..and from training too, natch.

If they didn't sack him after getting beaten at home to Reading or getting thumped at home in the derby they're not going to sack him after grinding out a point away from home in a fairly difficult fixture. He definitely deserves the sack but I can't see it happening unfortunately.

The bickering has got to stop like. Seriously, it's tiresome. The whole point of this place is to offer opinions and debate things but it's getting ridiculous. If you can't be civil to each other and debate the point at hand then don't bother. There's absolutely no need to make things personal. Can't imagine any Newcastle fan is happy right now as things stand but please be civil to each other.

I've reached my limit, that post is the resulting outburst. We'll see what comes back, I'll probably be the big bad bully when he's been winding people up for years. I've always thought that deep down beneath that bubbly, personable, lovable chappy online personality of yours beat the dark heart of a vicious, delusional, nasty, bullying sociopath. This proves it. I hope Ian bitchslaps you from here to eternity you horrible bastard. Reported.

West Bromwich Albion vs Newcastle United - 20/04/13 @ 3pm (No TV)

Have zero faith in us getting any sort of positive result away from home. I've basically written it off and am fully expecting a loss. I sincerely hope I'm wrong. Results this season would suggest yet another loss though. Why the fuck is he still in a job man? -
Struggling to pick a player of the season this year. Can't think of a single player who's played to a reasonable level consistently which is a first. Normally there's one or two who excel but the entire squad have been consistently poor throughout the season. It could be the players but it's probably the way they're being managed. For every single player to play poorly takes some doing, it's certainly not a coincidence. There's a common denominator and it's called Alan Pardew. Just wish he wasn't here, he's a fucking millstone around our necks.
