The tempo is waaaay too high. Players panic on the ball if there isn't a pass on immediately. There is little intelligent movement upfront and often a midfielder will only have one or two players to hit in the other half - an area of the pitch which most games is akin to area 51 for putting fear into our players. Slow the tempo down a touch and have 3/4 options with a mf actually instructed to move up with interchanges of passing and a lot of our problems go away immediately (some games we do this for the odd 5/10 mins). The MF should be a 3 of Siss, Cabs and Tiote with Cabaye at the head of that triangle. Upront Cisse needs 2 creative forward types behind him (who aren't fire fighting all game in their own half). At least one of Cisse's support players must STAY in the opp half of near the half way line as an easy sightline outball... Most decent managers would sort us out in one week. I honestly believe that. The raw materials are there already, any manager worth his salt wouldn't be anywhere near the foot of the table, injuries or not. Chronic mismanagement has been the key to this season.

I'd struggle to name a single player who's better this season than last. The entire squad had regressed and the common denominator is the manager. The bloke coaching them day to day and telling them what to do. It's fucking frightening how far backwards we've gone in 12 months. Lots of people are seriously suggesting that we scrap the Player of the Season award due to the dearth of candidates. It's an awful state of affairs.

I think the responsibility for the mess should be shared by all involved, not just Pardew. And you know I'm no admirer of Pardew's. Whether they signed in July, November January or whenever - Pardew has proved he has no idea how to use them or get them playing well on a consistent basis. There was an initial reaction and it's long since disappeared. I've seen nothing from Pardew to convince me that he has the first clue how to get this team playing. It's true they came in 6 months too late but the inability of the manager to do anything worthwhile with them largely negates the point imo. He's fucking hopeless.

Not strengthening in the summer was a mistake but it doesn't even come close to excusing/explaining the vast majority of appalling performances and results. The manager's responsible for both ultimately and neither have been remotely good enough. To go from challenging for CL qualification to relying on Wigan losing to remain in the division is down to the mismanagement of the squad. Ashley doesn't pick the team, pick the tactics, conduct the training or make the substitutions. This is Pardew's mess.

Aye, it's not a case of "who comes in" it's a case of "thank fuck he's not here". Him leaving the scene completely is the main priority right now.

Shape. Organisation. Discipline. The cornerstones of Pardew's footballing philosophy (sic).

1985-86. We shipped 72 but that was from 42 games. '89 was close too shipping 63 in 38 games. We finished bottom and well adrift that season.

How much does a decent hit-man cost these days? Fuck it, how much does a semi-competent hit-man cost?
  9. Simply has to act. Tonight if possible. The players have no faith in him and neither do the majority of fans. If nothing changes then we're down, simple as. We're 2 Wigan wins away from a disaster. He backed him in January but should have binned him in reality. The compensation he needs to pay to buy out a good manager is the best money he could possibly spend. Get this cunt out ffs.

How can a lack of organisation be down to players? Exactly. There wasn't a plan today. There were no special tactics to nullify Liverpool or exploit their weaknesses. He picked a keeper, a back 4, 2 defensive midfielders and was 2 down after 16 minutes. We created one chance in 45 minutes and he shit himself, we went at them for 10 minutes and got hit on the break. 0-3. We then continued to shit ourselves and gave up and the deficit doubled within 20 minutes. He's clueless. He simply can not get anything out of this squad, he's fucking done. He's a dead duck. He's a busted flush. He needs to lose his job as soon as possible.

Should have saved his breath. His words are bullshit and lies and the most important group of people, the players, have lost faith in him and his bullshit. We're only going to go backwards with him in charge.

Bingo. He's done. Once you lose the players then you may as well resign as the position is irretrievable. Sooner rather than later please as we still need another result and we're not going to get it with this gutless cunt in charge.

8 Completely reliant on Wigan losing because we certainly won't win another point with this cunt in charge. If they win 2 games then we're down.

He's done. Completely finished and has zero left to give. He has no answers, fucking hell he even creates problems he can't solve. His position is totally, 100% untenable and his players have given up on him. He's dead msn walking and the sooner the cunt is put out of his misery then the better it'll be for all concerned. HE HAS TO GO NOW.

Don't know how shitter it's got to get for some people. We're going down under this cunt. This utter, utter tool is going to get us relegated. The apathy is unbelievable here.

I can only imagine it being outright poisonous if we're doing rubbish against a rubbish side at home. Can't see it being particularly bad facing Liverpool & Arsenal unless we get pasted in a very timid fashion. But for Cisse's last minute winners against Stoke/Fulham, I reckon they had more of a chance of creating some beeews. The rumblings have been there for a while now though and the pressure's on. Just got a feeling SJP will go up tonight.

Got a feeling today will be the day that he properly gets it from the fans. First home game since the shambles that was the derby and if Liverpool score early on then it'll be poisonous.

He's got verbal diarrhoea. He's just come out with a large pile of shit.

  22. Can't understand why Dortmund are still attacking. Everyone knows that you have to protect your lead/draw. Daft bastards.

Looks fucking mint that. Llambias probably knocked the letters up in his fucking garage to save a few quid.
  24. Wouldn't even bother with one this season being completely honest. Speaks volumes when I'm struggling to name a single player who's had a good season.

Currently having an ongoing discussion with a bloke at work about this. He reckons all of his mates are all coming round to my way of thinking and all want him out after previously being behind him. He can't understand it and his only defence of Pardew seems to consist of "well the next bloke they hire may be worse". That's it. His only remaining reason for not pulling the trigger is that the replacement may be worse. Mentally ill tbh. I have debates with a lad I know, season ticket holder, home and away, never misses. He's a Pardew fan and his usual reasoning for shooting me down is 'stability', which is crazy. However, his latest point was 'like fuck is this as bad as teh relegation season, we've been far worse off than this', as if that is a reason to keep a manager? wtf is wrong with these people? Yeah I've had that one and actually used Wullie's financially stable = always in overdraft analogy and he still didn't get it. Being absolutely dogshit is something that should provoke change not endorse stability. We've been terrible and have moved backwards as a club. Let's keep everything the same and do nothing. Everything's going in the wrong direction - winning less, losing more, scoring less, shipping more, plummeting down the league, performances are rank and the manager isn't capable of doing a fucking thing to halt it. But let's keep him in charge for the sake of stability. It's madness and it'll get worse the longer he stays. He needs to fucking go, man.
