I meant in the league.

If Wigan can go there, compete, score and still be pushing for the winner with 90 minutes on the clock then we can go there and get a result. We've not won at Stamford Bridge for decades but there's nothing to be scared of.
-
No way will they sack him before the semi next week.
-
Maybe if we hadn't defended as well there would have been more incidents/action in our penalty area? Had we not kept our shape and intercepted their attempted passes into dangerous areas then there would have been more action. Never mind.
-
That was how I was feeling at the time tbh. Since that game he's got it all spot on, the change to the 3 upfront has transformed the team and we look a real threat again. I wanted him to solve the problems and he has done. Fucking good on him and long may it continue.
-
Got it spot on again, superb stuff. The early goal helped us massively as it meant that we could stay nice and compact, concede possession until they threatened and see the game out. We never had to have a real pop at them to score so the game was a bit dull for the neutral. I think we all know they've got zero cutting edge and look great passing it around but not when you've got no cunt to put the ball in the net.

The majority of mag posters on RTG seem to be WUM's, the ones that I know. However there are a few level headed mags (Midds) who I get on with. I always try to give an unbiased opinion. Fuck off pissface.

Most of it is down to PAYE avoidance etc they were doing. So basically the bankrolling done under the Souness, Walter Smith (1st spell) and Dick Advocat was funded partially by avoiding tax. Hope the authorities throw the book at them tbh. Never realised it went back that far. Certainly explains the size of the debt but I'd still like to know how long HMRC let it go before they acted.
-
Fucking hell. Begs the question, which I've still not heard an answer to, why were they allowed to rack up so much debt? How long did HMRC allow them to get away with it before they took further action? Christ knows how the club was being run but £134m is now too big an amount to be repaid.

we are rumoured to have offered him 50kpw for 4 years which he's waiting to discuss with his advisors possibly at the end of the season. Didn't know that. Is that with or without the clause?
-
Barca will dismantle Chelsea home and away. Can see it being something daft like 5 or 6-1 on aggregate. The gulf in class and quality is massive.
-
Go on, 5 minutes or something daft like that...
-
How's your bottle Chelsea? Fuck me.
-
Barca will get to rip these cunts to bits in the semi. Twice. This pleases me.
-
There is that too. Hadn't considered that, but aye.
-
Wonder if we've tried to renegotiate his contract to get rid of the clause? Because of his dodgy knee no club would be willing to splash out proper big money for him. I'm sure loads would want him but now his goals have dried up a bit perhaps other clubs would consider even £7m (plus circa £50k a week?) as a bit too big of a risk? It'll be interesting to see how it all pans out.
-
Does he not mean the entire wage package over the course of a 4 year contract?
-
Probably been mentioned but how silent were the scousers? Turned up, sat down, watched in silence then left. 3000 of them and never heard a peep.
-
Fuck him. No sympathy whatsoever for him.
-
Playing these 3 upfront has transformed us. We're playing with pace and intelligence and our use of the ball is much better. Credit to Pardew, he's got them going and if we cash in on the next 4 fixtures it would be tremendous.
-
Best 3 points of the season. Couldn't have gone any better.
-
Hang on, this is the Chronicle April Fools things isn't it? We're not seriously believing that Ryan Taylor will be competing in the Olympics are we?
-
Because Pardew is a fantastic manager. You again? Shut the fuck up, man. Any need?

Get in yer bastard. Iniesta.
