Injuries are part and parcel of the game and can happen at any time whether it's training or in a match. No point whinging about it but it does call into question the depth of the squad and why we're still one or two injuries away from seeing the likes of Lovenkrands and Smith being called up to play. We're basically hoping that we manage to keep the majority of the first choice XI fit for the majority of the season because after that there's fuck all quality whatsoever. That's down to the people who decide the transfer policy. We did some excellent business early in the window but we're nearly into August now. Enrique and Routledge look to be heading out of the club, Ben Arfa is out for a month or two, Ryan Taylor's got a knock, we lost Ferguson and Guthrie (?) at Darlington. A thin squad is about to get thinner and still the Carroll windfall is sitting there, basically untouched. This fucking club man.

Just don't believe a word the bloke says. He says what he's told to say by the people who pay his wages. Enrique will go soon and Tiote, Coloccini and Ben Arfa will follow him soon enough.

Our balance sheet is going to look mint this year.

I'd suggest the 'poison' isn't in the dressing room, it's in the board room. The club is being run on a shoestring and doesn't appear to be showing any ambition whatsoever. Fucking hell, we don't even spend the money we get in let alone actually invest money into the team from owners who want their team to succeed. The whole thing fucking stinks.

Sounds like the shit hasn't just hit the fan, it's smashed it to pieces. If it's being compared to the Orient fall-out then we need to sort it out and do it sharpish.
-
The tour has been a shambles from start to finish. Poor organisation, poor PR regarding the visa issues, poor performances, poor results, injuries, players coming and going, Enrique slagging the club on Twitter... Hardly the way to start the season flying.
-
Chronic lack of investment and ambition by the board mean we'll continue to lose/alienate our best players. Better get used to it folks. Buy low, sell high....Stumble on from season to season trying to do it on the cheap with smoke and mirrors and fingers crossed behind the back. He shouldn't have said it publically but he's right. We're run by small-time cunts.
-
"your sort"? Not quite sure where this is going....
-
Hasn't Allardyce just bought him?
-
Or until Udinese get bored and look elsewhere.

It'll be a sad sight if he even pulls the shirt on for us this year. £60k a week for a 5th choice (at best) CM is criminal. Especially one as fucking dreadful as him.
-
They made him an offer but I'm sure he turned them down.
-
No need for this like gentlemen.

Slight shake on the hands and we've got a winner. Gif the cunt Skirge.

Is it funded as a separate entity?

We've got the brains of Britain on board at our club so I presume so. I agree that we need to be seen to be doing something but am annoyed that it's another thing that fleeces money from / antagonises the support. There's been enough of that the last 4 years and combined with the ridiculous singing section scenario it's yet another thing where real supporters take the hit. More and more will be getting fed up with each of these measures - what's a minor issue to some is the last straw to others. Yep. Won't be long before they bring out some wanky 'awayday passport' or some such shit to watch us away from home. There has to be a bit of a compromise and making membership free for away fans wanting tickets would have been sensible and suited board and fans alike. Moves like this (justifiably) invite criticism and cynicism.

Can understand the reaction of the club to the wankers last Friday night and being put on the spot and the need to be seen to be doing somethingto stop it from happening in the future. I can also understand why they want a bit more info about the people they're flogging tickets to but there's nothing to stop someone from getting a mate to buy a ticket, get through the turnstile and then just throw the stub away. Said dickhead proceeds to annoy people, gets nicked and doesn't say who got his ticket for him. Rinse and repeat. Presumably the club realise this?

It's the lack of football tbh.
-
And that's the point of keeping him around, to ignore him. Ace idea Admin (People could have done that with Invicta or NE5) Don't expect it to happen btw. Would be tremendous if it did but some will still feed the troll.
-
I just wish that, for once, when Wearside comes out with something so deliberately inflammatory to get reactions that EVERY SINGLE PERSON completely ignores the post as if it didn't happen. No ' ing' , no comments, nothing - just complete silence to him and his post. Would be ace.
-
Sturridge on loan would be pretty much our perfect transfer at this point in time.
-
Yeah, can't really see anything happening at Elland Road due to its stature compared to Darlington. I meant bother in and around Leeds city centre that weekend rather than actual pitch invasions.

He's simply the spiv of the owner and always will be. Probably not a bad bloke and would be decent company over a pint or two but he's definitely 'one of them'. Really dubious as to how and why he got the job, his intentions, his orders and ideas for moving this club forward. I honestly think he's been given the job of overseeing the pruning of the wage bill whilst raising as much cash as possible in the process. Cutting costs (ie the wage bill) and maximise the income. I've become very cynical under these cunts.
