I wouldn't exactly say I was turning my nose up at him, I just think he's pretty error-prone and may be costly. For the right money i'd be happy. PS - Kieran Richardson was an England international that could cover 3 midfield positions playing for the best team in the land too. Aye but he'd walk into our defence at either CB or LB and improve it instantly. Richardson would struggle to get a game. That's the difference. I honestly don't know who some fuckers would be happy with in our back four. Baresi's love-child? Gentile's grandson? Not aimed at you Dave btw.

Boumsong Are you comparing Boumsong to Silvestre?

Some people need to give their head's a shake. A French international who can cover 3 of the 4 defensive positions currently playing for the best team in the land and people are turning their noses up at him! Unbelievable....

You poor fucker having to talk to this spacker, midds. A grown man bragging to another bloke at a bar that him and his mates are about to start some bother. Seriously, I just don't come across people like this and it always amazes me that there are people who still haven't grown out of the "I'm the hardest in my year" mentality from school. "Do the business". WooOOOooooo you must just be absolutely nails. That is fantastic. Late 40's I'd guess! He did look as hard as fucking nails mind tbf.

Ain't The Terminus now called Keanos? No idea and I'm not about to find out! Fuck that.

Had an interesting conversation with a 'character' while ordering a pint of Guinness in The Goose. He had a broad Scottish accent, a bit like Bluf's, but he claimed to be from Sunderland. I didn't know whether or not has was joking or just looking for a reaction. I just smiled and laughed then, he said he drank in The Terminus (which set the alarm bells going) and he nd his mates fucking hated Celtic and he and his mates were going to "do the business, you know" later on and he just laughed. The pint of Guinness couldn't settle quickly enough and he just gave a 'catch you later lads' type thing and we fucked off. Could be something, could be nothing. Honestly don't know if he was joking as I say but it kicked off an hour later...

You got two brilliant bargains when you took Ferdinand and Fox. Not to mention Kevin Scott... £850k.
-
£1.70 a pint and about 7 hours drinking time before kick off didn't help either...

Was Geremi good tonight? He was excellent. Can't think of anyone who had a better game tbh.
-
As effective up front as he is between the sticks. Needs a one-way ticket to somewhere like Rochdale. No ambition and is prepared to lower himself to the role of crown joker by agreeing to come on and play up front - 'just for a laugh'. Peddle the fucker and promote Krul as back-up.
-
Reading glory-glory, seems like he only came here because they never wanted him in the first place I'm spotting a pattern developing here...
-
Better that than 300 mongs asking a load of shit. Agree with that actually.
-
38 games and if they all play about 30 of them, then Owen will get more than Viduka or Martins. I'm guessing at about 16ish.
-
The entire issue should and could have been cleared up months and months ago if the FA actually had a spine and made a strong decision. The confusion is purely the fault of the lack of bollocks at Soho Sq.

Bums on seats mate. Celtic always bring loads... 10,000 x £15 = £150,000 in the bank.

Can't see Allardyce being particularly chuffed with that tbh. Doesn't mean that I don't think we need someone to do a DoF type role at the club but I'm just not sure Allardyce would welcome it. In fact, I think he'd probably see it as a threat/sleight on his ability to organise the football side of the show.

Seen Appiah a few times and his game has always looked to be ideally suited to the Premier League. Would love him here. Not sure about Deco, especially for £15m... Cassano - bargepole time.
-
I think he's canny actually. £3m sounds about right and he's head and shoulders above the likes of Ramage.
-
has he the temprement to handle being told "you're gonna be a left back" ? If he's given the chance to start every game, he can't really complain, can he? If he takes the huff at that, then he's taking the piss big stylee.
-
Always felt that left back was a position that could be ‘coached’. If you’ve got a talented player who’s reasonably intelligent, you can develop them into a good full back. It’ll take time, patience and experience but he’ll gradually improve. N’Zogbia has the physical attributes and he’d make a good left back. He’d just have to curb his instincts to attack and have a bit more discipline but with the right coaching and a bit of faith, he could be at least as good/steady as Bernard was for us.
-
He needs regular first team football at a decent level. He's got 4 strikers in front of him in the pecking order and would only get a handful of games if he stayed here so a season long loan to a Championship side would be an ideal solution for all parties imo.

If someone had come in with a £7m bid for him in June, I'd have sold him without too many regrets. However, it's now the back end of July and it's cutting it fine to get the players in we needed 6 weeks ago without adding a CM to the shopping list.
-
Don't worry about it man! Just add him to the poll. Edit: Done.

That's there so all of the knee-jerking whinging gets post in one place and not clutter up the rest of the board.
