  1. Wasn't a case of us sellin him though. He rejected the contract we offered him and went looking for regular football. That's because it was a one-year offer, you can't have expected him to expect a piss poor deal like that at such a young age. Don't blame him in the slightest for wanting to drop a league and play regularly! He never quite did enough to justify offering him a longer deal though imo. He would have been the next Jamie McGlen.

    Club Captain

I reckon it should be Butt. Needs to be a player who's in the thick of it all the time.

    David Beckham

    Cheesy. As. Fuck.
  5. ...and yet the solution is so simple...
  6. This thread was started half an hour before your poll and the article was being discussed. Surely you can understand why it was locked? The ideal compromise would have been to ask NSG if he minded adding a poll to his thread. no, I personally can't see why it was locked, plenty of polls are started on topics posted on the same day, in fact this post was the reason for the poll, which is the whole point deciding on locking it or merging with this is obviously a decision for James, as he controls what can and can't be talked about If that's your opinion then fair enough. Your last sentence is ridiculous though!
  7. £20m? They're paying £20m to loan him? Structed very similar to the Mascherano deal to Liverpool, fee paid to loan him for 2 years (around £6m), then £20m if they buy his contract. So they get the services of one of the best young players in the world for £6m? That's not a bad deal for Man U imo. They've obviously got to pay his wages too like... Loan? If he decides to leave after them 2 years they aren't entitled to a penny. Capiche? Gotcha!

  10. Fair enough. They're getting him for a lot less than his current worth?
  11. Try reading the thread and then get back to me Ringo. you think I haven't read it? You never read threads....... so what have Man U done wrong? Technically nothing. I think Parky is getting at the fact that Man U are attempting to take advantage of the situation by acquiring Tevez for the princely sum of fuck all.
  12. Only mackem player I can remember getting applause is Ned Kelly.
  13. The FA had the chance to clear this all up and they fucked it up big time. They should have clarified who actually 'owned' Tevez and punished West Ham properly. Don't think it could have been handled any worse than it has been.
  14. That's a name I've not heard for a year or 2. I'd forgotten he even existed.
  15. He's one of them now. Couldn't give a fuck how they rate him. Not our problem anymore.
  16. No worries. You're only the 12th person to mention it.
  17. I must admit I'm totally behind the 'safe standing' thing. An area sectioned off, behind a goal and limited to season ticket holders only would be an excellent idea imo. Lord Justice Taylor wouldn't approve like...
  18. That's what it comes down to in the end. and if a club bids on the last day? Then it'll be up to him if he leaves, I'm not sure if he will as he values his squeaky clean reputation too much but it's not the ideal situation for the club to be in. I share your concerns, mate. If a massive bid comes in, which I'd be astonished at, the club would have to consider it. Can't see it happening like. If a bid triggers the clause mickey can tell the club to go fuck themselves Aye, this is true. I'd just like to think he'd have a bit of a concsience and see the season out. Forget the 'massive bid' bollocks - blame it on my memory. Bit of a spaz atm

  20. 2 Left Backs 2 Centre Halves 1 RB (depending on what allardyce intends to do with Geremi) A dogs-bollocks playmaker. And a club doctor who knows what they're doing and is capable of keeping Owen, Viduka and Martins fit for the season.
  21. If the cash is there to spend on a better player than Duscher, then it should be spent. Under normal circumstances, getting a decent player in for free would constitute a good bit of business from the manager. Times, however, have changed and we appear to have a bit of cash to spend and the budget is now apparently in place to get a better standard of player. I'm not against the move because it's very very low risk and there's not much to lose from the club's point of view.....but I wouldn't mind seeing Allardyce going for a top name to do the same job.
  22. Concurred. Not sure about 'Duscher the butcher' mind...
  23. About time he came out and said something. Fingers crossed he stays fit and bangs them in. Wanted him to come to a decision regaring his future either way, and if he's decided to stay then let's get behind him.
