In other words, unless we find anyone thick enough to take them off our hands, their contracts run out or we sign their replacements - we're stuck with them. 2) Roeder is under the impression that he himself has a 'long-term' future at the club.

Bump. Edit: Before anybody spits the dummy, i didn't bump the thread to show anyone up or humiliate them for their predictions. I got things totally wrong! Just thought it would be interesting to see how people feel now as opposed to how they felt 4 or 5 months ago.

He can be happy AND rich if he sees out his contract here though... Don't be angry with the lad - save it for Souness and Shepherd. He's exercising his right and the vast majority of posters would do exactly the same if they were honest with themselves. As long as he doesn't ask for a transfer, he's sorted. He can walk away for nowt, to anywhere he wants in a year or two (not sure of the length of his contract tbh). He'll only move if it's in his interests. All this means is that he becomes a costlier mistake with each passing week...
