My criticism was his team selection at the start. The England comparison was more about winning but still having room for improvement.

I normally defend Howe but Barnes had to start today. Unless he was carrying a knock or something that we didn’t know about.

You can hear him shout 'Time' on numerous occasions to Murphy. When we need to break a team down like today, he is a great option to Tino. Otherwise, we are too predictable going down the left.

You play your best players in your starting 11, simple as. I think Howe knew he fucked up the selection today. Murphy is decent off the bench as shown in the last game.

Agree. Hall still gives it away too easily in my opinion and fell on his backside twice getting turned by their attacker. I have faith that Tino will come good when Tonali and Barnes/Gordon are in front of him.
