Champions League 2023/2024: Group F (Newcastle, Milan, Dortmund, PSG)

? -
Cunha just needs to run as close to the goal as possible and then pass it to someone to shoot. No composure whatsoever!

Waited 20 years for the return of Champions League and the missus has booked for our 2nd baby to be induced on Tuesday! Let's hope he comes quick! -
Both Manchester teams getting bullshit calls. Penalty for me if the ref gave it on the pitch.
-
I'm assuming they would stop the music once the game has started. Seems fine to me!
-
100% and Longstaff. We just don't have the balance in midfield currently and there are gaping holes in the midfield.
-
Think Wilson and Longstaff have to come in the next game. No way we can stick with the same 11 after the international break.
-
Shoot man!
-
How is that not interfering? I remember when Tiote got one disallowed ironically against City.
-
Feeling nervous for this. Would have preferred an easier fixture but it is what it is! HWTL!

Can you imagine the uproar if it was Luton? -

On their forum... Newcastle lost against 10 men after being one up in their last game. -
You can't polish a turd, but you can loan one out.

I do agree that they both shouldn't be near the 1st team. Ideally (without FFP constraints), we would be buying 1st choice players such as Tonali, Isak and Bruno etc and getting the likes of Burn, Miggy and Longstaff to be the rotation players but that's not going to happen. With the volume of games we will have this year, they of course will get minutes when the first team are fatigued or injured. But to replace them with players who are slightly better would further squeeze our transfer kitty for this season. I can fully understand why Eddie Howe has chosen to give them short extensions as quantity and quality is important. Quality wise, we have done that with signings of Tonali, Barnes, Livramento and Hall. Quantity wise, short term anyway, it makes sense to keep Dummett and Ritchie. I'm pretty certain Ritchie won't be on the same wages he was on before.

We've been lucky with injuries so far but I would be confident that they would step in and do a job.

After going into a club store to try on a large for this season's kit. I'm now 90% sure they sent me a medium size last season despite the label saying large. Don't think I've put on that much wright before someone says anything ? There's no way I'm spending anymore money until Adidas take over now.

Or we don't have the money to replace the whole squad. They both fit into Howe's philosophy and are cheap short team solutions who can be relied upon.
