Very harsh on Darlow. Made some great saves to keep us in it. He wouldn't have had to if he wasn't beaten easily at his near post, and hugging the far post for the free kick. He shouldn't have got beat at the near post for the first goal. Ward Prowse is the best free kick taker in the league. I'd argue it was a stupid position to give away the free kick. Hendrick should be dropped when the ban ends. What was he expecting when he pulled his shirt back exactly?

Agree with pretty much most of that. You can tell Rafa have the back 3 well drilled as each one knew their jobs although Everton made it easy for us with so many of their key players injured or suspended.

If is was under Rafa, I think we would have said Rafa outsmarted their manager. Was a solid performance especially in the second half. Think this formation suits us. 3 at the back with 2 sitting midfields and utilising the pace of the from 3 of Wilson, ASM and Miggy. The wing backs seem to be settling well also.

Played a super first time pass on the half volley straight to Lewis in the second half. Classy player and should definitely be starting for us if fit.

Hendrick and Longstaff were decent! Longstaff supported the attacks well and Hendrick broke up their attacks and made some crucial blocks.

Definitely a case for him to be in the starting 11 in the RWB role. Confident on the ball and loved how he cut in and tried to play it forward rather than just the easy ball to Schar.

Anytime he touched the ball, he had like 2-3 players on him. Against inferior teams it may have worked but he couldn't get in the game and was dropping deep just to get a touch of the ball at times.

He’s been fantastic so far this season, more than happy with his performances. Probably should have saved the goal but when you are making over 6-8 saves a game, you’re going to make an error at some point.

That tackle right at the end of the game summed up his performance. He would have easily have nullified Lamptey against Brighton but barely got any minutes until today.
