It's worth the money just for that. Honestly though mate, he's been one of my favourite non spurs players for a while now. I've seen more than enough of him to comfortably say that he'll be a massive success in this league. He has absolutly no faults (except maybe that he's not exactly fast, but fast enough). The only other non spurs players in world football i like as much as Coloccini are Goran Pandev from Lazio and Angelo Palombo from Samp. You must be shitting me. Everytime I had a go at him last season, most people didn't seem to agree with me. Quite a few can't look past his work rate and attitude, which are great tbf, but he just isn't good enough. He is a huge liability, costs us so many great opportunities in a game, by not delivering a decent ball. He was even moved into the middle at one point of the game today and he actually looked worse. He didn't quite know where to be and subsequently faded from the game as he hardly was able to get on the ball. this is a huge season for milner (if he stays). he can go past a man but has often failed to deliver the pass,may have something to do with the often shit movement for him to look for

Regardless of whether I would or wouldn't take him ( I would, in a heartbeat btw ), just because Liverpool bought Keane, doesn't mean he'd be available. He's very much a fans favourite at Anfield because of his gutsy performances and hence the As for who we could get in, I think we need to look outside of England. As evidenced by the Bentley deal (among others) prices are drastically inflated within the Premier league. You've got to think of players at other clubs who would a) be available, and b) be reasonable priced. There are a couple of good players in the championship who could be available, but they'd be squad players at best. i.e. Seb Larsson, Kevin Doyle, Giles Barnes, etc. Looking outside England, and for the figures being bandied about, I'd take Zigic for £8m, as he could provide a useful foil for Owen/Martins.
