  1. I can't see why KK would refuse to reveal the identity of a signing we've already announced. to be fair though there aren't any quotes of him actually "refusing" to reveal the identity...quite often with these things he just didn't tell them to be fair there aren't any quotes
  2. in line to make his debut tonight after mallorca gave him special dispensation to play......................apparently
  3. nowt compared to if it doesn't materialise at all

not just the goal but the ball. the mid 70's european style black and white football looked so exotic.

  12. Venison scored the following season. Bracewell however scored a belter. aye thats right ..bazza vennaz had moved into midfield by then. the chelsea second half 5-0 back in the 70's. just typical newcastle all in one game. how we could be so poor then turn it on. one i wasn't there fro but the away cup game at west brom 3-0.
  13. villa 5-1 first season up and venison scored. even though they scored first we absolutly dominated. a time when home games just meant how many are we going to win by and with highly entertaining simple football.
  14. think it would have happened to all bar the biggest stars.
  15. did it take mega bottle ? lee bowyer played probably his best football when he was in the deepest s***. when i went through bad times playing football was great as i forgot about the rest and lost myself in the game (that includes deaths in the family) Did you take any penalties in the Champions League semi or final? no.....and i doubt lampard was thinking "ooooohhhhhh and me mams just died"

  17. It was about his dead mother lets remember a 58 year old women died of pneumonia it wasn't some ego trip. I read your posts your not a moron so don't belittle yourself with such a cheap line. As for Oba it would be nice if the club asked Oba would he like a minute applause or silence at the first home game, the lads to wear black armbands or he may not want anything & whatever he wants is what goes in these very sad times for him. was there a minutes silence for babayaros brother ? how far do we go ?. i don't think a minutes silence for a players parent is appropriate...extra support for the player certainly but the minute silence is leading the wrong way.
  18. In which case you must be f***ing minted, or just completely unaware of how hard the economy is biting some people. Cloud cuckoo land, tbh. To be fair you've needed to have quite a few quid to spare to attend football matches for years now, it's not a new thing. People who could afford it last year will in general be able to afford it now IMO. Obviously agree some will be tipped over the edge by the cost of living at the moment like. Yeah I appreciate it's not a new thing Dave. But I think a lot of people, saddled with f***ing huge credit card debts, mortgages they could barely afford at the best of times, and facing spiralling energy and fuel prices may well have reached their tipping point. I earn a decent wedge like, but I'm having to cut back on loads of things I once considered essentials but are now merely luxuries. serious...is it that bad ? we've cut back a tad but the main cut backs are for a reason nowt to do with the crunch.
