  1. i don't know, they did it once didn;t they ? are you confident that Ashley will ? no i'm not confident of a return to the champs league but i have more confidence in ashleytaking us forward than i had in shepherd those last 3 years.
  2. and NE5 were you confident that shepherd would have took us back to champs league and top 4 finishes ?
  3. bit off topic but some fantastic and bizzarre kits in here.......http://www.historicalkits.co.uk/

    Tim Krul

i'd be guessing for most all they have seen of krul was the palermo game and for forster the liverpool recerve game that was televised....in both games they were very good with man of the match performances.
  5. Why? “The more I watch this ‘Planet Football’ and see the back pages dominate the front pages and people like Coleen McLoughlin - who is just a plain little girl from Liverpool - set up as role models, I think to myself: ‘What the hell is going on?’ Sounds more like a dig at "journalism" than at her specifically. Besides, what has she done that warrants her being made some sort of role model? Don't think I'm going to get into a discussion about the merits of her However, there are far better candidates to have a go at. Has Simon Jordan perhaps singled her out because of who she's married to? There's an irony there somewhere, as well as the irony of some orange faced t*** of a chairman of some second rate London club seeing himself as a person /celebrity chairman in a position to be critical of others. Wonder what Bristol City's chairman thinks of Steven Gerrard's wife, or what Doncasters chairman thinks of Danielle Lloyd? my bet would be "Phwaaarrr...hubba hubba....wouldn't mind having a go on that" pretty much the same as Simon Jordan then nah....no-one would want a go on simon jordan.
  6. she's fucking a somebody
  7. Were you wearing a yellow and grey hoody Kev? Nah, why ? cos the bloke he spat at was.

    A New Rob Lee

    shit...missed tonights 11pm bulletin....what's he say ?
  10. most top flight clubs have yet to make their major moves in the market.
  11. couldn't play today as his registration wasn't through according to SSN...............seems a lonmg time to get it through unless this isn't as clear cut as it seems
  12. I can't see why his ex would follow him to LA when she left him in the first place unless she is going to America anyway. didn't she just want to get him away from up here (or up her). a big pay day seems the next logical step for him at his age.
  13. can't be trailing through the last few pages but (no links please) are the gaols on anywhere....setanta or ssn ?
  14. I agree. whats the point in locking it....like a weed it will just crop up unwanted, elsewhere.
  15. look at a different way mate, I've seen real s**** - which isn't playing regularly in europe, and just being in the top league was deemed to be success - and I'm confident Ashley will at least be better than that. Oh, and I still actually supported the club, put my cash and time in, so I'm not going to stop now, however disappointing if he fails to tap Keegans potential as well as the last board did. a member of the last board, dear dougie bragged about getting rid of keegan...d'you remember that.
  16. He's too chicken to answer this question. you're like a little lapdog Ozzie lad, always getting under somebody's feet but i notice you didn't answer the question. i answered this earlier. Do you think Ashley will do better than the Halls and Shepherd with the same manager ? where did you answer the question....you quoted my post in order to slag someone off but didn't actually get round to answering my question. in reply to your question...cos i will answer when i'm questioned...NO. i don't think they'll do aswell but then i've started threads saying i don't think keegan is the man he was when first here but a damn sight better option than hte previous three. you'll also remember that i've said often enough that the previous regime did well for a while (that would be the champs league and top 4 finishes that i don't think you've yet got round to mentioning)...but where was it headed ?

  18. I'm shocked at that, I thought he'd taken over the 2nd best team and taken us to 13th, I must be confusing him with somebody else. haha, you never give up do you. Halls must be pretty stupid to let someone else run his business, almost as stupid as someone who doesn't understand such a fairly basic point. We'll see if Ashley matches with Keegan what the Halls and Shepherd did. Do you want a wager on it ? were you confident that shepherd was going to bring the chapions league and top 4 finishes back ? while you ponder that also take time to reflect on the bragging of douglas hall that he had got rid of keegan.

    Long Term Strategy

Depends. Do you throw £100m at the first team signing 4-5 top drawer 28-29 year olds and £10m at younger talent then have to repeat in 2-3 years time. Or Do you throw £10m at one or two good older players and the rest on younger players and continue to build the young core and add the occaisonal star. No right answer! The right answer is the one that has the team winning most games. in a nutshell. Quite amazing the amount of people that appear to think the top 4 have been getting it wrong all these years mackems.gif getting it wrong is being in the top four ,spending money you don't have to reach 13th
  20. david thinks...."f*** it ....that piece of string aint gonna stop me,this'll feel like beef on my tounge compared to the razor blade labia i'm used to"
  21. we dont need replcements for anyone. we need players that compliment and improve the current staff
  22. david thinks.." i would love to stick my tounge right up there but that piece of string tells me it aint on"
  23. look i'm trying to keep him occupied so yous young'uns can have fun else where.....now scoot....get out of it.
  24. it;s like technically man utd have no case against real madrid....psv had no case against man utd with ruud van longface etc etc etc
  25. Believe what you want, I'll believe something which has been well publicised and not contested rather than believe something which some people have concluded based on no evidence other than us bidding for players who ended up not coming here, something which nobody has denied. As far as I’m aware the media picked up on what Mort said and nobody from Spurs or anybody who represents any of the parties involved have said that what he said was wrong, the same goes for when he mentioned Woodgate. Surely somebody somewhere who was involved in one of the two deals would have said something if it wasn't true. coming from someone who refuses to acknowledge the obvious conclusions from 30 years of league positions ......... you couldn't make it up. what about the last 3 years and which way could you see us heading ?
