  1. given a decent transfer kitty i'd be game for that partnership
  2. a) has keegan been informed about this ? b) is it shearer as manager with keegan aiding ? c)doubt either would take the job on without significant transfer funds d) the chants for shearer and keegan use the same "tune" so we don't have to change a thing
  3. why not let the next manager decide who,if any he wants to keep ?
  4. not really ,he's one of those blokes, like myself ,who doesn't suit a suit
  5. And had we done an Arsenal on them? taking all our performances this season into consideration was an"arsenal" performance or a "liverpool" performance more likely ?
  6. does it make much of a difference wether allardyce is there or not ?
  7. rubbish mate, tbh. Blame the current people running the club. The players bought in the summer, that people said were "good business" ..... have really done the business. Average low priced players = embarrassing hammerings from clubs who have real ambition and show it. Whatever you think of Shepherd, its been said before and ignored, but they backed their managers to try and bring quality footballers to the club. and it's also been pointed out "they" didn't back their managers...the banks did. so far ashley has gave someone elses appointment round about the same to spend as the previous regime. we'll have to wait and see how much he gives his own appointment
  8. I seriously doubt we'd have been hammered like that had the past 7 days not have happened. We'd have been beaten but not totally embarrassed which we were. Anyway, the result and performance is besides the point. We are now in the same position FS and Co had us far too many times. Midway through a season without a manager with no-one seemingly wanting to touch us for a million miles around, rejected by no-marks and the proverbial "Shearer-Shearer" fanfare being cranked up. We were meant to have moved on from all that with the new people. Same old Newcastle, same old fuckups more like from individuals who have the means and opportunity to do a whole lot better. Don't worry I won't be writing off the new people just like that but I am very alarmed by what has happened and all faith I had in the 'new' United has gone. Again, this isn't acceptable and the quicker Ashley and Mort realise this the better. as many have said our performances this season have been heading for this. it could have been worse against liverpool if you remember. allardyce had to go now we have to sit and hope we get a better replacement.
  9. "stable club ".....you reckon ?...........that result has been coming for weeks. the performances had been in place for months.
  10. right now ,who are the teams worse than us ? Whether or not they're worse than us right this second is irrelevant. The question is are they ALL going to be able to pick up enough points to overtake us? Derby are down so there's only two places left. An Anelka-less Bolton are going to really struggle. Fulham are s***, sunderland are s***, Reading, Boro, Wigan and Birmingham are hardly great shakes either. We're garbage but those points already on the board will keep our heads above water. we have to rely on fulham and sunderland in my view
  11. the squad is a mid-table squad with no confidence.

    Jose Mourinho

Has any journal or tabloid even attempted to ask him about the possibility of him taking this on? With so many "close sources" taking s****, surprised not to have seen any of Mourinho's sources taking to the UK Press get them to ask kylie if she'll shag me while they're on
  13. right now ,who are the teams worse than us ?
  14. spuds have scored more goals than anyone else this season (until today maybe?) and are going the right way....we aren't
  15. he says he was offered a contract...the NUFC side of it is different...who to believe ?

    Official Statement

"although the chairman insists the 60-year-old was only one of a series of potential candidates." is a line that stands out to me
  17. it's just possible they have more of a clue than you think. was redkanpp offered the job or did he pull out at the "talks" stage..the statement mentione that they have "spoken to a number of potential candidates" could it be he wasn't actually offered the job but we wanted to talk to him, aswell as others with a view to deciding who would be best for us

who are the others ? has redknapp pulled out at a kind of interview stage leaving the others still in the running ? was he offered the job or did we just want to talk to him aswell as others to decide on who'd be best for us ?

  20. are we sure redknapp was offered the job ? the statement says he was one of a few talked to. nothing about an offer ?

    Paul Merson

I wondered this when I read the story. The lad has obviously had problems for a long while. Where are friends through all of this. I dont know s*** about stuff like this but I always assumed that once you hit a low like he did, his friends would be with him every step of the way to make sure he didnt do it again. I am guessing a footballer of his status knows lots of people. Its quite sad if he doesnt have any true friends who are looking out for him. Maybe it isnt that simple so I shouldnt judge. had money, had friends
