  1. A) He may well if we have adequate replacements. B)So what, you do t keep so.eone on because he played one ok pass. Had Isak not scored or Willock puts in a poor cross Maxi has had exactly the same game. The fact it was a goal is pretty meaningless when looking at his game. C)He knows Isak can pull wide as well. Would you put someone struggling with an Injury through the middle, usually they go wide. And are you yet to hear Eddie be critical of any players in public ? D)He's always picking up injuries, he also often seems disinterested especially when off the ball.
  2. Yeah like I said he possibly has a slight issue, I'd guess most of the regular starters have. It's getting like you can tell in the first 5mins which Maxi has turned up. Now don't get me wrong, even a disinterested Maxi is capable of suddenly becoming the Maxi that we love for a bit but now we have others who we dont have to wait to see and hope they turn it on for 5mins.
  3. The hamstring is possibly slightly true. At this stage of the season I'd guess most of the regular starters have muscular niggles etc but for me, I just thought he looked disinterested throughout.
  4. Much better V Wolves than he was at Forest.
  5. Even his usual defenders on here were saying he was poor. You know what I can not remember who gave Willock the ball to cross for the penalty, if it had been Maxi it would be rammed to death about how integral he'd been in the move. You can play a decent pass and still have a poor, lacklustre game.
  6. Based on what we saw surely, a substitution following a poor performance both on and as importantly for Howe, off the ball.
  7. Yeah he had to for the sake of the team. We may well find out over the coming weeks with Gordon back and Howe seemingly increasing want to give Anderson game time.
  8. Do you think he'd really say he was crap, looked disinterested and played one decent pass that we'd barely had noticed if we hadn't scored.
  9. I've normally been anyone but these two for La Liga and normally went Barce between the two but I'm slightly favouring Real here purely because of Modric.

Fuck me we've all done it, daydreamed of playing for our teams. For me it always involves playing great and scoring or selflessly creating the winner, often heroically playing through injury, carrying my own severed arm round the pitch for the final 5minutes type thing and winning over the very intelligent, cute but shy Sister of my teams captain. It never involves just wanting to injure someone and fuck the score.

Wouldn't want them to cease to exist but I'm happy for them to be as low as possible without that.
  13. Both I think. He's technically on loan but the terms surrounding obligation to buy have been triggered, however it couldn't be made loan to permanent outside the window. That's a guess like.

Hasn't that always been the case all over ? Fan bases will get straight behind in "important" games but in general there's little beyond a "come on"...... not even a 70s "you're gonna get your fuckin' head kicked in".

    Match Atmosphere

I wonder if the sound level, if measured in the centre circle, was louder then or now. I think at times the atmosphere seemed better because, if you were in the centre of the Gallowgate (80s) you were right in amongst it, literally pressing against each other. For anyone stood in the paddocks, or the Leazes after the roof came off, the atmosphere wasn't all that.
  16. Possibly. They said about 3 weeks and Man Utd will be 3 weeks.
  17. Doesn't he have form for this though ? And as much as his personal circumstances have been terrible it could also give perspective.
  18. It's a non story really. Imagine City also having to stump up probably in the region of 100kpw in wages as I'd guess Philips is on 250k plus.

    Dogawful Officiating

Correlation does not prove causation. Which leagues were used as control groups ie have fouls remained constant in leagues where VAR isn't in use ? Have referees been told to let the game go a bit (the answer is yes) ? I like VAR when it's quick and gets stuff right. It pisses me off when it takes ages and comes to a decision only the ref and a bloke in a booth out of the whole country can see and sometimes looks like they are looking for a reason to allow or disallow something.
  20. Re Toney, any ban should be X amount of league and domestic Cup games rather than Months. Like bans for sendings off etc.
