We have a bit of a friendship going back to the UEFA cup tie with fans being great with each other in both ties. Sunderland recently though they had a thing as the myth went Bilbaos strip was down to them, turned out that was, as with most Mackem stories, a load of shit.

Matt Ritchie (now Technical Director at Bournemouth)

Ideal for the older player in under 21s but wonder if he feels he maybe still has another year or so in the first team somewhere. -
By creating their own super league with all the issues of any breakaway league.
-
Might it not just help that Armenian team pull away from its domestic competition and then its like most of the Western European leagues ie a closed shop.
-
Modric, Iniesta and Seedorf were a level above the others mentioned imo.
-
Semantics like but I wouldn't have Gerrard as world class, international class maybe but world class for me is Messi/Ronaldo etc. Gerrard is behind Modric/Iniesta for me.
-
Oooh I don't know, let's take a close look at what he said "twitter transfer con artists pretending to be experts" of which he's one, "are already annoying" he certainly is," and the window hasn't opened yet" and that ones a fact. I'd say he's got this one spot on.
-
Hard to judge as their roles were very different. I'd much rather have Henderson in the Henderson role than Gerrard and vice versa
-
Nah the best way is to just say that about his position without, as he does, whining on about others, quite often talking utter shit with little basis in fact.
-
Loudest I've heard in a ground was there when we played Inter and they scored. It wasn't even full.
-
And that wasn't good. 2 wins I think before we were relegated
-
Love it when the ex pros haven't got a clue about the game they played.
-
They're always unpredictable to a point. Look at Leeds at Liverpool, Brentford at Man City etc. I wonder what the other gamblers on here think but I tend to find things go more to form at this stage.
-
No idea but this one seems Arda than the last one.
-
I wouldn't say it's particularly Liverpools approach.
-
And the way Eddie uses subs to keep up intensity (See Murphy playing at least a part in every game), he'll get plenty of game time.
-
And if the right player at the right deal had been available I've no doubt they'd have strengthened elsewhere. When he signed I always saw him as a squad player until the summer with adaptability to player right across the line. Far too early to judge him imo.
-
I'm not sure we did with him. We'd been after him the window before and I honestly see him as a project.
-
Naturally. If he plays I want him to do well, however he's young and has shown at Everton he has talent, even a couple of near assists here. Give him a full pre season of our conditioning and bedding in.
-
Where as I'd like a Maddison type but someone who can do the press and intensity that has made us what we've become. I'm just not sure he can do that.
-
We can do all those formations now. Maddison wouldn't make us any more flexible on that score and while he offers an attacking threat greater than what we have I'm not sure if he can add off the ball.
-
Bilbao brought a few for the UEFA cup and that was before those games.
-
Shouldn't that be "You don't want them promoted. Why though ?"

Personally my tea making has came on massively in the last few years, it's all loose and without milk now, not boiling water and then leaving after taking the leaves out.
-
And it's what all fans do walking out after the match. We were lucky/unlucky there, we/they had X amount of great chances. Player Y has to score from that position etc
