saw that on Twitter this morning. The lad was proper boasting about how far his bullshit had gone. Mad how many sources won't even check the credibility of their "sources". Not that mad really. they don't give a shit if it's true or not providing they have something to print and they know there'll be no comeback from it.

Only things on Ashley and the Thumbs list - Get past season ticket deadline - Appoint Neil Warnock I think most people who haven't akresdy renewed are sitting tight until they know who the new manager will be anyway. Not to mention many who pay monthly and prepared to cancel the direct debit.

He won the Champions League with a side in which Djimi Traore was the first-choice left-back. He may have "generally had good players", but he got great results out of them. Sometimes teams can win with poor players in their midst. The format of the competition isn't even set up to find the best team. I think thye season Liverpool won the champions league they weren't even the best team on merseyside (someone check that as I'm watching True romance and cant be arsed) Watching True Romance and responding to NO posts at the same time. Your'e not really watching it mate. I didn't even turn the lap top till after the Hopper/Walken scene. Semi-save accepted. But just no man. NO is great and all but if you really want to watch True Romance then find a couple of hrs somewhere. Do it right. Enemy of the state now. Am I allowed to browse while watching that ? (Lisa Bonet man FFS!!!)

I'd be very sad to lose Townsend, he'd tear the Championship apart. Lascelles, Mitro, Dummett and Perez I hope we keep, but won't be that sad to see either leave. The rest can f*** off. Yeah there are players I'd rather keep than sell on but honestly I'm not overly bothered about any of them. The squad needed to be gutted irrespective of the division we found ourselves in. Complete overhaul needed. Towards the end of the season Lascalles not only played well but became vocal, on and off the pitch, showing signs of becoming a leader. I'd like to keep him for that, we need a spine, we need leaders. We've had none for years.

Aye, just checked and it was Scott Green in the Bolton game. He was roasted as bad as Cox was. I'm sure he done Cox in another game aswell ?
-
Was that not at Bolton, his 2nd or 3rd game for us ?
-
Lee Dixon kicked lumps out of him when we played at Highbury and he wasn't the same player for us after that, he was still good but he didn't do it as often. And Winterburn. Wasn't Winterburn already booked, fouled Ginola, started walking off then realised the ref (arsehole that game, forget who it was, as bad a reffing display as I've ever seen) wasn't making him walk, it was after that Dixon went to town on Ginola, kicks , elbows the works.

Intersting. Assumed most of them would have buggered off on their holidays by now. De Jong's been in Ibiza since the season ended fwiw. His season or ours ? Could've been out there for 2 years.

Isn't it just like the offside, really. Everyone goes into great debate about how complex and confusing the rule is when in fact it isn't at all and merely backed by common sense. Problem with common sense is that it's not that common.

Totally forgot about this. Pleased I'm going out so won't see it, Palace V Man Utd.........hope for game abandaned due to both teams being reduced to 7 players due to long term but non career threatening injuries.
-
Shelvey looked fine in the Swansea constant movement set up and looked ok for England. Don't mind if he goes but he could still do more than a decent job for us if he gets his head right.

Hundreds of billions

What's the highest points total in The Championship? 106
-
Lights out at Accrington with 7 1/2 mins left of extra time.
-
I'm with that but the longer Klopp stays there the more chance there is of turning on him.
-
Fine details being sorted........"Transfer budget, yeah well the numbers are the same just the decimal point has moved, it's only a little dot really"
-
lerner just wants rid Aye but he only paid that for the club as well. Ashley paid more than double for us, fairly similar sized clubs. I thought Ashley only paid about 85mill for us, the rest was buying out the debt. Did Lerner do a similar thing, 60mill purchase and other costs etc on top ?
-
Wheres that ?. Oddschecker is giving best odds of 5/2

Or heart. Don't know if it's a good thing or not. Did he play like he was pissed off because he cares so much about the state of things and he was pissed off at that or if he didn't xare you'd have thought he'd have played for himself to get as good a move as possible ?

I think they are saying the linesman flagged. Play to the whistle and all that but if the flag goes up, and it would've been wrongly if it did go up, people stop. He was immediately in on goal. Who exactly are they claiming stopped playing that could have affected matters? Players see a flag go up and claim. I;ll have to rewind aswell to see if the other player was offside (though obviously not interfering with play). You play to the whistle not the flag, you are taught that from a very early age. You keep playing unless the merry whistle blower blows. I know. I said that. But had that happened at against us, assuming the linesman did actually flag, players and fans in the ground would have felt aggreived. And it would be tough luck, as harsh as it is. Not even luck, thems the rules. Inside the ground though without the tele view it's different and no doubt on LFC boards they are going on about the other player in the box. (think he was in an offside position when their player played the ball. can't rewind it as I turned over to Accrington-Wimbledon)
