Justin? Peterborough away league cup I think. He defintely played but can't remember if he started....I was there!
  3. Fulham were in a relegation fight last season and haven't signed anyone or done anything to suggest that they will move on from that. Fulham won't be competing at the top of the table. I think he means Norwich were supposed favourites to get him with Villa interested aswell.
  4. No but investors will be when they are looking to invest for pension pots and they are looking to invest in ethical companies. Don't worry there will be many non ethical investors who won't give a shit.
  5. Probably a throwback to this http://shop.canaries.co.uk/filedepository/productimages/leisurewear/adult/retro/_ImageCache/92-93_440_440_150528030438.jpg Don't see any reason for any team to need a third strip.
  6. Given that Benitez seems wedded to 4-2-3-1 are we wanting wingers as opposewd to midfielders who can play as much inside as outside ?
  7. That cannot be right. Chelsea just paid less than that for Kante for God's sake. Yeah but Kante's only done it over one season while Sissoko's................erm carry on.
  8. So, outlay so far about 35mill plus whatever Gamez and Hayden were so probably about 40mill. In return a reported 60mill for Sissoko and Gini (with probably Krul and Janmaat to add another 15-20mill). I'd like to think any further additions are to be more of the "would do a more than decent job in the prem" as opposed to "decent enough for this league"
  9. Wondered if he might pull a Colo and just need a years agjustment but towards the end of the season, when we still had a decent chance of staying up, he just looked like he couldn't be arsed.
  10. Normally when we lose a "big" player I want them to go abroad so I don't have to watch them, thinking "he was ours". However I'd quite like, for that price, Everton to get him. I'm that nasty.
  11. Nowt on RTG so I'll treat is as mere rumour till there's half a dozen threads on there.

Not at all how we were viewed a month or two back ? Edit... on my phone and for some reason the sentence from "It's quite clear...." doesn't seem to have been boldened like I intended.
  13. That's some if when his head hasn't seemed right since not getting his move last time and that's without the prospect of Championship football. I think he'll go for about £25mill.
  14. Game after game after game after game of being an athlete instead of being a footballer.
  15. Penalties ?.......and 40yrs ago was the coolest thing, to this day I've ever seen in pro football. Panenkas pen, jaw dropping, my mam was ironing, my dad didn't go to the club as it went on, my sister wanted both sides to win (felt sorry for each side as they went behind,)and it was "what happened ? How did the ball drift into the goal and Meier (think it was) went under it ?" My sis thought he stubbed his toe and scuffed it
  16. While thats true it's not saying much, he's been slightly above average on a pitch of shit.
  17. Typical , two Moussa Sissoko's and we get the dud.
  18. I'm not writing him off like, I just didn't get the fuss about him last season, he missed some crazy chances I thought, even if he is 21. 21 and coming into a new and totally different league. Not sure if he'll make it but he shows enough to stick with him for now.

They could go at anytime, all of the hardware just goes into packing crates and can be transported anywhere. None of this is true. Its taken 2.5 years of planning just to get a new press over and installed. That's 1 of 5 (off the top of my head) The continued investment and expansion of the plant more than suggests they'll not do anything for some time yet. Like i say, 5 years time it might be different but its business as usual regardless of the Brexit result. Also those effected most will be contractors, most of them are not from Sunderland...they'll be the first to go should the reduce the output. Don't forget Nissan have a plant in Russia and those sanctions and trade issues are far far greater than anything the UK will experience of the next decade or so. 5yrs isn't really that long given that any EU deal is at least 2 1/2 yrs away.
  20. Down to the lake I fear.
  21. He's an athlete, he's not a footballer.
  22. Of the two I'd much rather keep Wijnaldum than Sissoko but as you say both will go (with Janmaat).
  23. Don't know about beyond like. Exactly the sort of player we'd want should we come straight back up, but now and if that fee is correct........see you!
  24. Thing is, as youth players go etc is the problem in the scouting, the recruitment or (as many suspect) the development ?
